The room quality is not matching the price and star rating hotel. It is a 4stars resort hotel but the its 2nd highest price room is worser than a 3stars hotel average room.

This hotel look like a 4 star hotel, but it's not, small room, not comfortable(Deluxe Triple), the wall in room not clean.

Lovely boutique hotel with "green energy"

this is a gem of boutine hotel with good location, relatively new facilties, tasteful landscaping and relatively good services (by vietnamese standards). i have stayed here a couple of times but have always been puzzled by the lack of balance between the owner's desire to "go green" vs. guest's comfort: it took over 20 minutes of running the tap in the bathroom before one can get any inkling of hot water for the shower. the explation from the staff was " it takes some time for the solar heater to kick in". is the savings from energy worth the costs of wasted fresh water and the discomfort of the guests? otherwise great hotel.

great hotel with great pool but service was shabby

we first booked a triple deluxe villa but when we got there there it wasnt a villa but a tiny room. the double bed was barely big enough for 2 people and the space for the table was replaced by a single bed, so no room for luggage. we complained,they said that they had changed the titles of the rooms on agoda after we had booked therefore what we got was not a villa. they had apparently received several complaints about this from other customers. we finally had to ring agoda to cancel our room, they couldnt ring the UK for us, and then rebook 2 double rooms instead, which meant our prices went up. normally we have always booked double rooms and this has never been a problem as the resort is always so nice and helpful, but booking a triple room was terrible. i wouldnt do this room again.

go dog racing on saturday nights...good laugh if in groups

Hotel was out of the local (downtown) area, but, quiet. The room service is expensive compare to the price other (soda cost $2 USD). Very far away from the beach, cost about $7 USD each way to go to the beach to swim by Taxi. DON'T go to the beach that is associate with the Hotel, dirty (there is trash all over the beach). Overall experience, "I will not stay at this hotel again".

It was one of the most amazing hotels in Vietnam. Really nice view, clean and comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staffs..totally loved it. We stayed at villa luxury and it truly worth its price. Nice view to ocean and garden. Very nice pool inside and there is poolside bar also. Kids, youngsters, couples, elders everybody enjoyed staying here. Definitely i will choose this hotel when i go to Vung Tau again

We stayed in two sea view room on the villa side.very quiet area.very good for relaxing.but there is no beach at the resort .it cost more than 100.000 dong if you want to go the beach for swimming.

It is quite far away from the beach when we can swim..
But all other things are good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
try the cap just near the hotel, go up to Ho May on the top of Nui Lon mountain.

We upgraded to a seaview room for US$9 extra per night. Room was clean and good sized, with all the amenities.
The Resort is quite a way from the ferry pier and the beaches and taxis are required to get around.
As with most hotels in this price range, the western style breakfast buffet, included, is some way off the mark; go for the Vietnamese noodle station which is the safest bet.
The pool is of a respectable size but without any built in filtration system (portable ones are used instead) though I did suspect the pool water corroded away the coating of my sunglasses.
Overall a nice relaxing stay and an honorable mention of the very helpful staff at front desk (by the name of Ly?)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
beware of the taxi scams - in HCMC we got in a fake taxi and got ripped off. In Vung Tau we took a taxi from the resort into town and the taxi driver wouldn't leave but instead waited for us despite not having requested him to do so. He would not go away and left his meter running. Thankfully I bought a Vietnam SIM card in HCMC and used Google Translate to get my message through, but in the end had to call to the hotel to tell the driver off. The SIM card seemed to be the best buy in Vietnam!
