private, simple, remote and beautiful
great view, close to a nice beach, good diving
I had a very good time at the Asian Belgian Resort. It was in a very remote location- 2 hours away from the airport, but the view from the room was spectacular. The beach by the hotel is gorgeous, but not sandy enough to swim in for too long. The closest white sand beaches were only a 5 minute walk from the resort.
Bring your own shampoo and soap because those weren't provided daily. I'm sure you could have asked, but I didn't.
It was a friendly atmosphere in general, but on my last day, I witnessed a pretty sad situation where the owner of the hotel was fighting with one of the Filipino workers. It seemed like they were fighting about a serious private and relationship issue, and I felt bad for the workers there.
Other than that one incident, I can't complain. I had a relaxing time there.
go diving with them!
Many countries do not take tip, but this one does, so don't forget to tip the workers that serve you.

Quiet place. Friendly staff.
if you are looking for a very quiet place to stay while you are in Moalboal, this little resort might be it. We stayed a night at the newer room. Overall the room was OK except for the plumbing problem, which I hope the management have repaired it. The food at the restaurant was not bad, a bit pricy though. There's no TV in the Cottage rooms.

Gorgeous location, very friendly staff
Beautiful ocean views, peaceful, friendly staff
my girlfriend and i very much enjoyed our stay at the asian-belgian. it was easily the best place we stayed while in the philippines. first of all, the location is amazing. you wake up every morning 50 yards from crystal clear waters. it's very peaceful. i've never stayed in a hotel that had a more beautiful location and such easy access to the ocean.
the staff are super friendly and there is a relaxed, family atmosphere about the place. the managers are really personable and helpful and do everything they can to accommodate your requests.
i got my scuba certification while i was there and it was a really enjoyable experience. the owner is also the dive instructor. he is laid-back and really makes you feel comfortable. we also went on a few boat dives while staying here, and the dive guides are also great. do their best to make sure you see all the wonderful things the ocean has to offer. tom was especially helpful; he sent me an email about good dive equipment to buy after i had left.
the good is pretty good, although the service can be slow. the water didn't work a few times. but these negatives are easily overlooked considering how great everything else was.
would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful staff and beautiful location.
Delicious food, warm and welcoming staff, and gorgeous scenery.
Everyone there was extremely kind, helpful, and friendly (Monique, Roland, Daniel, Tom, and the entire staff) and did everything they could to make sure that our stay was pleasant...which it was. Thanks to Tom (the dive master) the diving was great (no huge creatures but lost of beautiful fish and a handful of sea turtles) and it was also a great place to snorkle since there's a beautiful ocean in the backyard. I highly recommend checking this place out...just make sure to stay for more than a week.

OK but needs more professionalism
Filipino staff amazing, great diving, nice room.
Chose the Asian Belgian resort because it promised warm showers (which you don't always get in the Philippines),friendly staff, great snorkeling or diving, and a restaurant. It has no swimming pool, no beach, and no motorized activities available(except the resort's diving boat and a scooter to go into town). We were attracted by it's friendly staff and spacious room. The kitchen staff was extremely accommodating and very open to suggestions. However, the European staff was a bit "know it all"and if you make a complaint or suggestion, they tend to make excuses or simply tell you that you're mistaken. The owner&friend's girlfriends gamble and beg their guys for money in the public eating areas (Not professional)When circumstances out of their control arise, they don't make any effort to compensate you in any way for the inconvenience.Example:we stayed in the Dolphin Watching room (which by the way has no watching of dolphins but a great view) and there were problems with the main water source so we had to go outside and turn the water on and never forget to turn it off or we'd threaten the supply for other guests.I spent the whole time worrying if we had turned it off.Twice there was no water at all and we were forced to bathe with a bucket of cold water...Not exactly what I paid for. Also kept awake because of leaking roof.I understand it was beyond their control but costumer service demands that you compensate a customer when they pay for something and don't receive(discount or free meal...anything)but they did nothing. We were almost charged for something we never even did because of bad weather, until my husband noticed it on the final bill. There's no generator so sometimes no electricity(ei: water, light, internet)The food is a little pricey: $3 for juice or $11 for a hamburger. Yikes!Overall it wasn't a terrible experience. Not sure if we'll go back. Needs some work. More professionalism when dealing with paying customers. Not a 5 star...maybe 3 1/2.
The White Beach 5 minutes from there serves similar meals for half the price.

Small resort in so nice, calm place
I can say only one - 12 points goes to this resort...of curse, maybe there more nice, but here ou for sure find calm, attention, nice view every morning and evening, corals, help, smiles, delicious and fresh food.
The resort not far away from White beach in Moalboal, small (it means that calm is guaranted), staff is very kind and attention, rooms is nice, view to the sea just from lobby bar every evening, every night and morning:)
Here is possible to receive all service in all, it depends how mych you ready to pay - diving, snorkeling, motorbike rent, tourist attractions under reguest, massage, pool, tricycle (if you need go to the city, managers arrange it).
If you need more active night life, then choose other place - here is the best place for romantic evenings, romantic views, diving, snorkeling, relaxing, dreaming, taking pictures and enjoying life.
For night life better to book other place, here is calm.
For food - you can always check and compare prices in other closest resorts - is possible to find cheaper, but anyway food in Asian Belgian resort is very fresh and tasty.
For sport activities - for sure, the best place for diving, snorkeling, because you can do it not far away from coast and safe money and time for going somewhere. Diving area just "under corner"

Nice place for divers”
Diving, snorkeling, relax
The resort is a nice, quiet and peaceful place, great for diving, snorkeling and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and time at the resort. The hosts are friendly, warm and helpful with info regarding tours (whale sharks, waterfalls, fishing, Cebu city transfer…), diving, padi… the white beach is a walking distance from the hotel and is nice to relax after diving.
The restaurant offers good food at a decent price, a variety of dishes (local, Asian and Belgian), and free water 24/7. There are several kinds of rooms depending on your preferences but are clean, basic, cozy and comfortable, some have a great sea view. Free Wi-Fi and pool table.
Snorkeling can be done just down on the beach, 50m from shore, nice corals, fishes… For diving there are many spots close by (max 1hour boat): the wall just in front, further on that wall or Isla Pescador, many things to see, long dives and good equipment.
It’s a few kilometers from Moalboal city and touristic place, but it can be reached by renting tricycle for a dinner and spend some time in the town. The resort is a great alternative for the touristic Moalboal and having great dives and a relaxing time!

Resort with great sea view
Basic room with friendly staff
The room is basic and great. The resort offer basic activity like snorkelling & dive. Snorkelling can be done just outside the resort and was great.
