Charming Hotel near Bastille
location, value
My weekend at the Auberge Flora was a lovely experience! I thought it was a very nice hotel for the price- it seemed much better than the other options in the same price range. I was very happy with my room. It was extremely compact, but everything flowed well and it didn't feel overly cramped (considering it was downtown Paris). The location is fantastic, right near the Bastille. The staff were a little curt, but helpful. A couple of small things that could be better, tho. First is improve the security a bit- the hotel doors don't lock automatically and given where the restaurant entrance to the elevator is it's possible for someone to access the upper floors without reception ever seeing them. The second would be to offer late check out or a half-day rate for travelers with evening flights. However, even with those issues, I am definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip. Merci!

Uniqe and cosy
Clean and great design on the rooms, close to the Bastille and Marise, easy to get to and from the Metro
Each room was designed differently and unique which was fun, they were a little small but in a city such as Paris you are not going to be in the room anyway. It was really easy to get from the airport by train to Gard Nord and the take the Metro 5 to Richard Lenoire and then just walk maybe 50-100m to the hotel. It was in a close walking distance to the Bastille and Mariase that have nice restaurants and boutiques. I could absolutely come back next time I'm in Paris.

I agree, it could be so much better
Design, cleanliness, and non-touristy feel
Our stay was good here at the Auberge Flora. We were on our honeymoon and decided to go to the Auberge Flora. It is walking distance from Richard Lenoir Station, which was good. However, Richard Lenoir Station is not very good for going to your typical sightseeing locations such as the tower, Champ Elysees, Notre Dame, etc. However, the Bastille area that this hotel is in seems much less touristy and has awesome eateries around it. The rooms inside the hotel are cozy and well designed. The amenities are also top-notch. The one thing that I agree with other reviewers on is that the staff is hit-or-miss. The young lady that helped us during the day time was very friendly and nice, but her night shift counterpart (a male) was kind of rude. The only reason I say this is that he told us for some reason, our room was wrong, but did not give us a reason why and simply told us "it's just wrong." I tried to ask what the difference between that room and the room he was moving us into was, and he did not give us any reason. This was the only thing that I think could be improved upon at the Auberge Flora. Otherwise, I think that this hotel is great for those who want to see Paris but also want to stay in a non-tourisy area.

Love this hotel! Would go back!
Great Staff, good coffee, fast wifi
Aurelie was great at check-in, and even came there to say goodbye early in the morning. The rooms are comfy and have nespresso in the suites :) Love the theme of the floors. Very cozy and quiet.

Great hotel, really convenient location to metro
Staff, cleanliness, location
Our stay was great. The staff, Ms. Aurelie was awesome, and super friendly and helpful. She directed us to all the metros nearby as well as Berthillon :) Loved the espresso machine in the suite, and huge bathroom.

Design hotel at a good value
Beautifully furnished, clever use of a small space, efficient check-in & out and love the in-room coffee from the capsule.
Totally enjoyable... the room was extremely well designed. It's all in the little touches. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and checked out the next day and didn't have the chance to sample the delights at the restaurant, which was annexed to the hotel lobby. Parking for our rented car along the street was really good value - less than 1 Euro.
