Very Nice Hotel a bit remote not a beach resort

The Pool down on the Rocks, twinned with Rimba, beautiful location
9.3
A lovely resort, but not somewhere for a lively holiday, it is a bit out of the way but has a great selection of restaurants both at the Ayana and its sister hotel Rimba There were always taxis available to get to Kuta or Jimbaran where there are some great seafood restaurants The Rock Bar is awesome but quite expensive for Bali but it is impressive Overall a great place, lovely room and the staff were brilliant
Brett G. Couples Australia, July 16, 2015
Pricey, overpopulated and no free wifi

Location, friendly staff and you don't have to leave the resort
7.7
Ayana is a stunning resort in a perfect location. You do not have to leave the resort for anything, however it has it's downfalls. Ayana is an older resort with older style rooms and it isn't very relaxing as majority of the guests are loud Chinese families. There is no free wifi in the rooms which is bizarre as this seems like a standard nowadays. Our room backed on to the golf practice putting yet there was never anyone on it. Perhaps some free balls could be given to those interested as incentive to buy more. Breakfast was also not included in the room and was ridiculously overpriced as well as drinks. At night the resort is filled with people who aren't staying at Ayana but are just there to take pictures. This makes getting a taxi out of the resort hard. Access to the sister hotel RIMBA is a positive as it seemed quieter and more relaxing.

Absolutely friendly smile from everybody who served us. If u have to ask me to be prickly, I the pillows need to have hard one and soft one to let the guest choose.
Sophie K. Couples Australia, July 9, 2015
Great just for Rock Bar...

Lovely staff. Lots to do- great gym. Good selection of bars & restaurants. Rock bar is AWESOME- Defo worth the hype & wait. Get there early!!
6.7
Great place, although after staying, we realise Resorts like this aren't for us. Too touristy & crazy!! NOT relaxing. Ayana's quests are also 95% Chinese & it's very busy & loud. Only worth the stay for a good spot @ Rock bar (although you'll still queue). They did let us check in early, which was nice. Room was also very clean with great amenities. Gym is brilliant & has all equipment. Wifi you have to pay for, which we thought was ridiculous. This place is fine but I'd only come back if we were wanting to visit Rock Bar. Not worth the $$$. At AYana, you're just another 'Jo Blogs' as there are so many other guests.
