Great b&b with very good lake views

Great views, good breakfast, wonderful service.
You do have to park in the square in the town of Molina and it is a 10 minute hike up cobbled paths to the hotel but the owner will come with you to pick up your luggage in his Fiat Panda - one of the few cars that will fit the narrow streets. This is a gem in Faggeto Lario, itself a quaint, unfussy and quiet village in Lake Como. very accommodating and also drove us down to the next village for a wedding we had to attend. This property has no lakeside access but Because it is perched high up the hills, The rooms have very good views of the lake..breakfast was also generous and lovely. Note that this is about a 10 minute drive from the main road on the lake to Molina, with a few hairpin turns. Would recommend to anyone wishing a quiet stay in Lake Como.

Room with a view

The location and view, the service provided by the owners, the character of the building
We stayed for 8 nights in September. Georgio and Leti met us in the village and drove us through incredibly narrow (and stepped) streets up to the house. The house is on the edge of Molina, a very old village - steep and stepped street, old buildings, arches, cobbles - full of character. The Villa is about 100 years old, tiled floors, tall windows with shutters, old creaky wardrobes. Don't expect slick modern hotel chain standards, it's way more interesting than that!! Loved being able to wake in the morning to a view of L Como from the bed! Georgio and Leti are wonderful hosts. It was like staying with family. There was a good selection on the breakfast menu, including fresh cake every morning. We ate there on 3 or 4 evenings - delicious home made food which I'd recommend. We could eat outside on the terrace if warm enough, with a view of the lake by night. We also ate in the village in both of the restaurants - good choice there too. From the village it is a short drive to the lake shore, from where you can get a bus or boat to other lakeside villages or to Como. George gave us a lift down when we didn't want to take the car, and offered to pick us up on our return. There are several places to sit outside at the Villa, - on balconies or terraces. And there are walks in the woods, including a lovely path to the next village. It's a great place to stay, whether you want to explore or just chill out for a few days.

Chantal is just the greatest host with a lovelyB&B

helpful, fun, great view, very good property
Chantal, the owner of the hotel is a really helpful host and drives your luggage up the hill in real 'italian job' style. She works very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible and speaks English very well which is not always the case in Italy. The views on the Como lake from the room are fabelous! See does not overcharges for extras such a parking (good private parking possibility), dinner, etc

accueil odieux chambre vieillotte
