Comfortable, convenient, special
Chinese and western combination, cozy, good neighborhood
Many good restarts in walking distance. You can feel old Shanghai atmosphere in the neighborhood. Chinese congee breakfast is good. Free coffee and cookies are available at the salon in the entrance.

Definitely overrated.
location.
It was not a pleasant stay. The internet does not work. I had to steal the neighbor's wifi in order to send an email. The safer is broken, has to be operated manually (using a mechanical key). The refrigerator is at room temperature (They told me that some guests complained that the drink was too cold so they turned off the refrigerator. What a joke!). The furniture was too simple and there is only one chair in the room. We have two people, one has to sit on the bed. The breakfast is boring and extremely simple.

Good location, not much else
great location with good public transport connections and excellent dining options within walking distance
This is not a five star hotel- more like a three star b'n'b in a nice neighborhood. Well priced for Shanghai. Staff spoke very little English and some none at all. Go for the Chinese breakfast if you must, but a better option is to walk five minutes to nearby bakery Farine for excellent pastries and decent coffee. Room was a little dusty but overall decent level of cleanliness.

it is a nice hotel, with great location, taking a walk around those little steets near the hotel, u can feel the old SH. there r stylish coffee shops and retail shops along the streets, nice view and deco Hotel itself is good, old style but yet modern, the only one thing i dislike is the toilet, i know it is clean, but somehow it looks dirty

A comfortable design hotel with great location
Location, service, public area in a garden with free coffee
Good design with good maintenance, a small service team so the service level is very consistent. Public area is in the garden, with free cookies and coffee/tea/coke, so I spent quite a lot of time with friends there. Located in the very famous Wukang road district, which is a very comfortable area with history.
