Baan Dinso is a little paradise in the middle of busy Bankok :) we really loved the room, the healthy breakfast and the lovely staff! The loistoon is good, close to everything but still on a quiet street. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Highly recommend
When I arrived here, a staff welcomed me with big smile, so I was really happy to feel like this was a kind of home. Shared bathroom was not problem, it keeped being clean everyday. You should pay attention not to make a noise with thin wall. I really like a staff who served me in the morning. She has really cute smile:) As everyone says, breakfast was excellent. You can enjoy your night life at Khaosan road by 6-7mins walk. If you like cats, you might be happy to see there are many cats around the cafeteria in the morning. The room was cleaned everyday and new bath towel was prepared everyday. Also, a bottle of water was prepared in the fridge everyday. Very safe, very clean, very comfortable place here, so I highly recommend everyone to stay here and I'm sure to stay here again. Thank you so so much!

Great location
The location of Baan Dinso is great as it's close to the main attractions. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working on the night we arrived, but it was fixed the next day. We liked that it's a small quiet hotel, breakfast was good, but our room (with bathroom) was a bit small. Value for money ok.

Wonderful quiet oasis in Bangkok
Super nice, helpful staff. Beautiful old-style house in a good location to explore khao san road area and bangkok's old town and palaces. Thanks to the whole Baan Dinso team for making our stay so relaxed and harmonious.

Charming small B & B
I traveled with 2 friends in Bangkok for a few sweltering hot days before moving on to Burma. We arrived at Baan Dinso at 2:15 a.m. to a friendly greeting and spotless rooms with air-conditioning that kicked in quickly. The bathroom in my deluxe room was spacious and well lit by milky skylight panels and two frosted windows. There were no tissues in the room, and the small, short glasses were too small to hold toothbrush, razor, etc. Two bath towels but no hand towel or washcloth, which seems to be typical in small hotels. It's an old wooden house with beautiful wood floors throughout. They ask you to leave your shoes in the courtyard and go barefoot or in socks inside. The courtyard is covered in blue-and-white tiles with a gentle wall fountain on one side, greenery, and big floor fans to provide a welcome breeze. Breakfast is wonderful, including fresh fruit with each of the three menu choices and excellent coffee. Baan Dinso is located two short turns off a trafficked street, which means it's quiet but also that many taxes don't know where it is. You'll definitely need the handy provided map. It's not an affluent area -- one of the three windows in my room overlooked tin roofs -- but it's colorful, authentic, and real, and inhabited by scruffy semi-feral cats, one of whom liked to perch on the green Baan Dinso sign just outside the courtyard gate. It's close to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, National Museum, National Gallery, and river ferry stops, all within a short walk or relatively expensive tuk- tuk ride (metered taxis are cheap and air-conditioned). Staff were wonderful, called taxis for us and even helped us flag down taxis. Definitely good value for money.

Perfect stay
It was so nice and quiet at Baan Dinso and I felt so "at home" that I had to prolongue my stay (-: Staff is very friendly, the location is central. Small Thinges like for e.g. that the TV on the room didn't work was not hat important to me. Try the Thai breakfast, the soup is excellent. Short walking distance to Khaosan Road, Democracy Monument, Wat Suthat, etc.

We thought Bann Dinso was perfect, the service was brilliant and the staff extremely helpful. It had been recommended to us and we would definitely recommend it to others.
