Fine if you don't have too much expectations

Restaurant manager, Location, Fried noodles with chicken
We paid 38 Euro per night and for that price we know what is fair to expect. If you know that too than you will have a good stay there. If you expect high class and perfect western cleanliness then you would be not lucky here. You are in the middle of nowhere in the nature! We loved to have the waterfall nearly for was lovely being on top of it during the sunrise.

Total ripoff. Completely out of Lao character.

Scenery is nice.
Noisy neighbors/rooms, combined with many bugs and some dangerously slippery slopes made for a less than average experience. Which would have been fine since the environment is very nice. However, the big surprise came at checkout. Apparently, the meals come at a premium. And there is no priced menu ... To put things in perspective ... breakfast: two eggs, half a tomato and a prefab sausage ... $7,50. Luckily we had dinner elsewhere.

very boring for solo traveller

big clean rooms, you can hear the waterfall
I got a cold and back problems and could not do the trekking I planed to do. The guy who picked me up at the airport (forgot his name) was very nice and we bought shoes in Pakse before heading to the guesthouse. He was also helpful trying to help me with my back problems. A very nice guy. The guesthouse is in the jungle. If you are not motorized, you are stuck there for the evening, which is not very pleasant specially if you are solo. When I was there it was pretty cold in the outside restaurant, so the guests just had a quick meal and ran back to their room. As I could not do the trekking this place was just boring for me.

Emplacement, accueil, sympathie.
Accueil parfait, direction sensationnelle.
