Good place to relax on weekdays, crowded on weeken

Nice place close to the beach, we stayed there on weekdays which was fine and quiet. We had the beach more or less to ourselves. On Friday afternoons, however, the place begins to fill up and get really crowded (karaoke at evenings all over).

Ok for one night

The beach, sea and weather.
Our stay was Ok, the breakfast wasn't very good. No evening meals there too. Local restaurants were the only way to eat and some are very poor in quality. The staff were ok, but need to be more helpful.

Too expensive it is just home stay

beach beach beach
we have booked one night during travel to tart . The room has nothing just bed and shower. A lot of mosquitoes. Difficult to contact start if you need anything. Breakfast is ok condition but it is just ok for quantity with less quality We only has a room, bed and shower. I don't like to stay here're because it has nothing to do. Tv is very poor signal, Internet is nothing, food quality is poor. I think it should be called home stay instead of resort. Difficult to call to counter. We have to walk ten minutes to get to them.

Thai style boutique resort

Quiet and beautiful beach, vintage
We paid to upgrade to the beach front room and we think it's worth it. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful beach, this is the place. The beach reminds me of Hua-hin in the older time. I would suggest this resort to any tourists who is looking for something with the taste of Thai.

Serenity at Chao Lao Beach

Neat and well-kept garden
We were impressed with the neat welcome and the lovely garden. The hotel provided lost of space for the guests to enjoy the green trees and beautiful flowers. The staff are pleasant and helpful. It's an ideal place for tourists who love green garden, peaceful beach and small lovely wooden houses.

Fantastic beach

Beautiful grounds
This resort is for people who have transport as there is no available transport to and from the resort apart from taxi. The villas are just like their photo, quirky and cute but limited facilities. No cooking or laundry, and no food apart from breakfast which is small in amount. The staff are friendly and as helpful as their level of English allows them. The beach is long and beautiful with very few people and the grounds of the resort are well-tended and a credit to the gardeners with orchids everywhere. Mosquitoes are a nightmare, even with repellants and sprays they are invincible. I left 2 days early because of their effect.
