Worst hotel I have stayed in

Not a great experience, found cockroach in the morning, wasn't clean hairs on the bed. Felt very dirty and uncomfortable. Had to put chair and bags against already locked door as got followed home and felt unsafe (no security) Wish we had known would have gone elsewhere. Guy at reception however was nice.

Close to town, away from noise!

location, setting and price
We stayed 2 nights at baan tawan with our dog, the perfect location for seeing Pai. Great room, air con, tv (for the dog) comfy bed and big bathroom. It's right in the centre of things, but down a quiet soi on the river, so the best of both worlds. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment, but we would strongly recommend this place!

Decent stay

Friendly staff, cozy environment
it was good. Distance to night street is relatively further than expected. and felt insecure on the way back to guesthouse from night street. no street lamp.

Service is bad

The hotel environment is very nice and clean
the hotel is very nice , but the service is really not good , firstly have no car pick us up when we arrived cause they said their car is broken. We havd to walk 20 minutes under the sunshine and not easy to find the hotel . Then during we stay there upstairs people had party the whole night, horrible noise , and I tried to call the service hotline , nobody answer, the next morning I complained at the counter , they answered me that oh, really ? I didn't know it, but it's also Chinese people live upstairs.its a Chinese tourist group there. Sounds so ridiculous, I'm Chinese, but that not means the hotel can ignore their duty to let the people make such noise . I didn't had a good impression about this hotel.

Spacious, breezy and relaxing

Value for money, good location and nice view.
Everything was great except the showers. They would off the gas heaters for shower waters unless requested which is annoying. The lock for the main door needs to be updated, it's gets faulty at times.

Seen better days

Resort by the River and close to the Walking Street
We only stayed one night as our party of 10 pax in two cars were on a roadtrip around Chiangmai and Mae Hong Son. The maintenance of the hotel is poor and our hot water is not working properly but we enjoyed the icy cool winter water temperature! Signage to the hotel was limited and the doors to the rooms is locked only by padlocks which some of my friends room did not work at all. There are many better resorts in beautiful laid back Pai which for us is one of the nicest town we visited!
