Off the beaten track hotel

location, interior, breakfast room
Right at the end of famous Pelourinho and close by the Lacerda elevator to the harbour quarter, this is an elegant, though noisy boutiquish hotel. Staff is friendly and speaks its English well. The interior of this old colonial house was brought down to its essentials and makes an airy and casual impression. The various function rooms on the 1st floor and the lobby on the groundfloor are laid out well and urges the guestst to stay longer, reading one of Jorge Amado's books on Pelourinho till the end. However,we had room which is close to the breakfast room and the stairs, so each noise will be heard, particularly when they start laying out the breakfast at 5.30, so take a room further up or in the back. Breakfast is just above standard. The bathroom facilities are OK. Internet is a bit of a guess around the hotel and slow.

reasonable price and facilities and good atmospher

price, internet cafe, location
Nice and kind hotel service...... and good atmosphere! I can use "Internet Cafe(1F)" from 10:30p.m. to 9:00a.m. without fee and it is very useful to work. Especially I satisfied the price using mini bar because it is the cheapest that I have stayed other hotels(Sonesta, Golden Tulip, Vila Bahia, Calhua) in brazil.
Restaurant Tip: you can have delicious coffee only 2 Reals in the first floor restaurant

Pedro fuhr uns dann nach Braia do Forte.
