Great view from the room

The lush location, quiet, and nice small river nearby

a gorgeus resort within the nature

location in the middle of rice fields, cleaniness, quite and no mass market touristic place, very spacious and fully equipped suites
I really recommend this lovely and quite resort. it is at 10kmfrom Ubud centre but if you are going to spend two or three days in Ubud, this can be a good retreat far away from the caothic Ubud. It is in a non-developed area (only little villages, temples, rice fields and forest) so therefore no touristic at all. the staff is very polite and you can go trekking, cycling, visting cultural sites by organized tour. it is also possible to rent bikes and is good and there is also a Spa for massages.

It was in the middle of mountain far from ubud

in the middle of mountain
the place is nice and the people nice but the location is too far from ubud_was not able to visit there. This place is only for trecking and after the trecking, not much you can do here. So we did cooking class which was fantastic after visiting morning market and temple.

Beautiful hotel, plunged into the forest.

We loved the position of the hotel, in a very peaceful and not touristic area. Ideal place for nature lovers.
The hotel has 7 bungalows, immersed in the forest. Our room was nice, with all facilities and with a beautiful view on the trees. The owner of the hotel was very kind, he was also a perfect touristic guide (we payied for one day car and he took us in many places around the area). The family run restaurant is also very good, the food was delicious. The only problem we had were the insects: unfortunately we had several big moths and cockroachs in our rooms, due to the closeness to nature. This couldn't make us completely relaxed.

Hidden gem in the forest. Wake up to best view!

Views from hillside cottages, landscaped gardens, only 6 cottages, access to beautiful surroundings.
i arrived solo and under my own steam at about 9pm at night. it took me quite a lot of asking to find it, and once i finally got there, it was all dark and nobody seemed to be about. quite a change from the 24hr receptions in most bali hotels and resorts. i finally found the manager and his delighful family who were so welcoming and friendly. it turned out i was the only guest, but they had a cottage ready for me and even summoned the chef from the local village to cook me up a much needed meal just for me! the lovely manager took me to my cottage by torch light and settled me in. the room was great with a lovely bed with a mosquito net hanging over it. plenty of room for a sofa and a small dining table. the bathroom was simple but sufficient. it was in the morning that the true magic of the place was revealed. i woke to the sun streaming in the glass french doors and a view of nothing but forest falling away below. there were birds and butterflies and it was a purely magical way to start the day. breakfast was made to order and was delicious. the manager helped me plan my day's activities and exploring and took a genuine interest in my plans. a great stay.

Mal was anderes
