So not 5 Stars
Rated 5 Stars and 5 Diamonds by.... the gov't itself. While a statue of old-school Beijing, this hotel has rooms comparable to 2.5 star facilities for anything built after 2000. Disappointed and would NOT recommend. Location is convenient if getting to or from the airport is not an issue and you're in beijing for the tourism. Hotel staff tried, but mgmt style is very local, not quite up to international standards.

BED BUGS! Unclean! Poor Staff! Worst hotel!
This is by far THE worst 5 star hotel I have been to, it shouldn't even be a 5 star hotel. It should be 3 star, the bed was itchy, there was bed bugs, faucets didn't work, water pressure was low, some electrical doesn't work and unstable. And people were smoking inside the rooms, and management won't do anything about it! Never coming here again!

good location but not worth for money
It locates near Wangfujing and you can find everything there but comparing to money you spend for this, it is not worth at all as hotel is so old and seem to be long time lacking from maintenance

Location, big bed, location
Location and big bed
The bed is big- can fit 2 people. We choose non smoking room on level 10 and there's people next door smoking! We complain about it, but the reception told us to just stay in the room and they will speak to the person next door. However we managed to move to level 12 - which is smoking floor but the air is more fresher as there's no one smoke in there. Carpet situation is dirty- doesn't look like 5 star. More like 3 star hotel. Location is great! Very close to Wangfujing street and mall- so easy to look for food such as KFC and McDonald.

bad services.
the location.
I was thinking to stay next time in Beijing hotel. because it seems nice and also 5 stars. and it's happened. but it's totally disappointed. start with the food. same menu was okay, but at 9 am, no more additional even it was still b'fast hour. and then the service. it just happened to us or not, but not much smile since we are checked in of the staffs. carried the luggage by ourselves. and if you need a taxi, you have pay additional rmb 20. no additional, no taxi. but, if you want to try find by your self in front door, it always somebody approached to you and asking for taxi rent. it was happened every day. so, the conclusion, no more second time. that's it!

Poor service
Location and huge lobby
Poor service from front desk to restaurant. Upon check in, my request for double bed was unavailable though it was clearly stated in my booking. Receptionist was most unhelpful and asked me to contact agoda instead! Never had I experienced this despite travelling every month. Toilets are filthy unworthy of a five star hotel.
