View, pool, garden
At first sight, the hotel looks good. However, the condition of the hotel is questionable. The shower doesnt work, even after calling the front desk, either scolding hot or freezing cold. The bathroom first looked impressive, but the bathtub, which is done as a jacuzzi, was really dirty in both and so we didnt use it. TV, well.... Only one english channel, Al Jezeera, and all other Thai. Bed was clean, but matress was old. Renovations would be highly needed..

The garden area is well-kept
This was my second stay at the hotel in about 8 years. For someone touring by car its out-of-town location is OK, and there's adequate parking space. But, at night time, its restaurant doesn't offer much at a reasonable price, and a trip into Pai will be restricted to either (a) zero alcohol and no parking in the 7 days-a-week Walking Street? if you drive or (b) being dependent on a shuttle bus service which finishes at 10pm. The "save water" signs in the bathroom will be familiar to many travellers. A little ironic in a bathroom which has a sunken bath with enough room for 4 people, and hot water which, in January 2015, arrived after running a tap /shower for more than 5 minutes. The bed was hard, and the mattresses not well-sprung. Thankfully, in a double bed there are 2 mattresses, side-by-side, so , as a single traveller, I could put one on top of the other, and get some sleep. I don't think out-of-town hotels should charge at the rate of Belle Villa, unless they have something special to offer.

Misleading information
We arrived and were told that we had been "upgraded" to a deluxe rooms. The deluxe rooms were not to the standard of the standard room which had been offered. It appears that the deluxe rooms are in the old part and the standard rooms are the new rooms. Our balcony was dirty with no furniture which was prvided after we complained. Thankfully we only stayed one night. We booked this hotel 6 months in advance.

Lovely looking hotel, let down hugely by service

Location, pool, cleanliness
Hotel was clean and gardens were lovely, however we were let down by the service. The breakfast was cold, wifi did not work, shuttle took 45 mins to pick us up from centre after continuous phone calls where they said they were on their way. When ordering food we were served the incorrect dish (and they did not realise this until we told them),

Pleasant stay

Facilities Quiet Staff
Pleasant, clean rooms with friendly, helpful staff. A little far from the town centre though.
