value for money, you get what you pay for. Location was ok. Room could do with an update (I had a basement room)

Quality per dollar quite low
The WC was so tiny there was no room between the sink and toilet. The bed was old and uncomfortable. There is a hostel across the street, and the noise and smoke entered the room through the night. Room was spartan. If the hotel charged half the price, this would have been acceptable.

Small rooms in desperate need of renovation
Not recommendable. The rooms are tiny, the bed is small, and the bathroom a disaster (the sink is the size of a dog bowl). The wallpaper is coming off in some areas and you have to pay extra to store your luggage in the day you are leaving (that was a Premiere for us)

The hotel needed some new wallpaper, painting, and the doors as well. There was light shining in and they didn't look like they closed tightly although there was only one security lock. I would've liked to of had another in a bolt at least. For the three nights I stay there it was fine but I would've preferred to stay elsewhere.

Renovation and better maintenance required.
Stayed at this hotel many years ago and found out that the facilities have really been worn down. Although the service is above average, the rooms and public facilities are really tatty. After upgrading to a 'Deluxe Room' (which is just as small as the standard room), it appeared it also spots and signs of wear and tear, which indicates bad maintenance. Would also recommend not to book any room on the street side, which can be quite noisy with Casino being located just across the road and many punters coming in and out until late night and early morning hours.
