Willing to lose money to leave

1. I could book out early. 2. I could afford to go and stay somewhere else. 3. I never have to stay there again
Unpleasant and not to be repeated

value for money

breakfast, shuttle service, friendly front desk staff.
We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others, great value, a bit of a distance from the waterfront. While there we experienced power load shedding, which of course the hotel has no control over. Power was out for about 2 hours.

Comfortable but noisy aircon units

Mountain view, breakfast, comfortable rooms
The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain but you could not use the aircon in the room as it was noisy but luckily the room wasn't hot as it was in winter. I requested a balcony but the next door unit's aircon box was on my balcony which had a metal panel that was loose and vibrated all night. After calling reception in the night and advising them the next morning they assured me it would be fixed. The next evening at around 10pm it kicked in again. The panel was still loose. The rooms have everything you need and are clean and the bed is comfortable. Very close to the city if that's what you are looking for.

Great facilities and breakfasts, some rooms noisy

Has both restaurant (fixed and a la carte) and pub/bistro serving reasonably priced, good helpings. Breakfasts superb and two pools, one at the foot of Table Mountain with great views. Decent sized apartment.
We spent 6 nights here with our two teen boys and were generally very happy although you have to ensure you don't get a room, as we did, close to the pub/bistro. Ours was just above the bar, which has an outdoor sitting area, and we could literally overhear entire conversations, laughter etc both until the bar closed and on the pavement outside. Our kids were unaffected in the next room. One of the pools was closed for maintenance but the other was lovely, with great views of the mountain, and there is a poolside pizza by the slice service and pool deck bar. The free breakfasts in the restaurant were great: cooked ones, Continental, pastries, fresh fruit etc - very good choice. Hotel staff were all friendly and the room cleaning good and reliable. The bar/bistro offered very well priced meals which were suitable even for a family dinner and the teens could watch music/ football on the screens. Our kitchen was very basically equipped: no grill and no pots supplied for m/wave cooking, but I'm sure these would've been supplied, if we'd asked for them at front desk. We got two bathrooms which both worked well and good power showers. There was always parking and free wi fi and reception was mainly good. Fairly convenient location, just 5 mins from Waterfront and on main routes out of Cape Town. Just 15 minute drive to Camps Bay etc and possibly 25 mins all the way down to Fish Hoek. We more than fulfilled our itinerary plans in the available time. Best Western Suites seemed to have quite a lot to offer for a three star hotel and we would happily stay there again - would just specify no rooms near the bistro!
Hotel Feature Tip: Enquire if your room is near the bistro if you don't want to be disturbed by noise, especially at weekends and on summer nights.
