Birthday Break

Convenient location, good car park, spacious room
We were supposed to be celebrating my birthday but unfortunately both myself and my husband were full of cold and so wasn't really in the mood! However, the beds were comfy and warm and we didn't have any noise issues so were able to get two good nights sleep. Hopefully will return in the future.

Great value for money

Situated just off the A1 as you enter Edinburgh it suits me as it is 10 minutes driving to my daughters flat. I like the fact I am not paying for breakfast, as I prefer to eat with my daughters family.
this is the third time i have stayed here, two or three nights each time.this visit the room was not in such a quiet position as previous visits, some road noise.the room was a small double, good size for one person with good facilities. only criticism is the decor was rather tired and shower not very powerful but i think rooms are being updated in future{read it in hotel blurb}.parking is good and safe, i have always found a space at the front of the hotel even though i return in late evening.i find booking on agoda site very convenient and have always had a very good price for a room at different times of the year. overall very good value and for me great location, easy access by car. will continue to stay there.

Good value for money for the budget-conscious

Friendly staff, tidy room, good location.
i thoroughly enjoyed the 3 nights spent in edinburgh, with the kings manor providing the perfect base for my activities. the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was simple but effective, clean and tidy. i took the opportunity to enjoy dinner and a couple of pints in the restaurant one evening, which was reasonably priced, while the breakfast spread is also pretty decent. the hotel is adjacent to a local bus stop into the city, while shops and restaurants are all nearby (including a 24-hour supermarket).
