This property is one of the city's best examples of Art Deco with 10 floors of classic rationalism that was the style of the 1930's interior design featuring marble staircases and intricate wood paneling and inlays throughout the public areas of the hotel. Rooms and suites at this unique hotel are equally memorable, featuring the original 1940s furnishing, complimented by all the amenities of a modern, 4-star hotel. Dining here deserves a special mention with their in-house restaurant, Ristorante 21, decorated with antique paintings and serving traditional Italian cuisine in a warm, elegant ambience. Putting aside the delights of the hotel, all the attractions of Rome are easily visited and the friendly hotel staff will be happy to offer information and directions.

Great hotel stay

Great location, clean room, nice breakfast
Easy to find from train terminal and near metro. Prompt check-in/out. Spacious room with complimentary daily bottled water. Breakfast spread was good, especially the roof terrace one. The room furnishing seems pretty old but helps add a vintage flavour to our stay.

unfriendly staff

location; breakfast
We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, we never felt we were welcome by the hotel staff, we never see any smiles, always very unfriendly, unwilling to answer any questions, very impatient !!

Centrally Located Quality Hotel

Location - 200m from Termini. Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Warm and friendly staff.
I stayed for 1 day in the Mediterranean hotel. A very enjoyable stay. Hotel is very centrally located. The room was large, with and old school feeling. But it was clean, bright, well equipped.

Bettoja Mediterraneo Rome - average

It was fine, but we were in a triple room that was nothing like the ones on the web site - very small, out dated furnishings, a cot in the corner of the room that didn't even have matching bedding. Air conditioner didn't work very well and seemed to turn off completely at night and got the room very warm. The walls were paper thin so it was noisy all night.
