Мы попали в этот отель случайно: хотели забронировать отель на Раче, а оказалось что он совсем не на Раче, пришлось ехать на Лон айленд. Но мы не пожалели. На этом острове один отель, ни магазинов начего кроме отеля на острове нем - только отель. Отель состоит из решепшена и котеджей. На решепшене находится ресторан. В котедже все что нужно есть - кровати, диванчик телевизор, кондиционер и т.д даже халаты.Но я так понял что у нас был самый лучший котедж в отеле т.к во время нашего пребывания в отеле отдыхало всего 9 туристов и так как у нас было 2 детей нам дали самый комфортабельный котедж. У нас в номере даже WI-FI был. Завтраки неплохие но однообразные, море нормального на острове нет, нужно ехать на соседний остров Корал. Вообщем в отеле можно остановиться на пару дней чтобы полностью отключиться от цивилизации и поваляться на пляже под пальмами.

an excellent resort and well organised and run. plenty of room in the garden view bungalow with a clean bathroom and plenty of soap,toilet rolls, and towels. the food was first class and cookie was happy to show you her kitchen. trips to the mainland about 20 minutes away were free and organised by reception.swimming pool was clean and cool with lounger beds and parasols. breakfast was really good and plentiful, with the fresh fruit an ideal last course to the meal. after the breakfast there is no need to have lunch. you must have the chicken sate with peanut sauce - it's enough for 2 persons.we were visited by wild monkeys. the sea is ideal at high tide but it is rocky and pebbley at low tide but use the swinging hammocks right on the beach to relax and watch the sunset.plenty of beautiful shells to collect on the beach, and lots of burrowing crabsto watch. meal portions are big and good value so one portion could feed 2 people.
Hotel Feature Tip:
mosquito nets cover the bed fully but take mosquito/tiger coils to keep mosquitos out of the bedroom and bathroom.if you intend to use the verandah in the evenings then put out the coils there.take beach shoes/flip flops to walk the beach at low tide

we were very happy to stay there.that is a lovely, beautiful, peaceful place to stay, to relax.food was absolutely beautiful, staff very welcoming and kind.we also loved the beach and the swimming pool.we definetely would stay there again.and especially we would like to thank you for unforgettable valentine's party.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Baanmai cottage is an ideal place for relaxing, for romantic stay.

a few cottages on a lonely beach
quietness, peace, no cars, slow tourism

originally we wanted to stay for 3 days only, we ended up 8… because of amazingly friendly staff, the peace and quietness. we looked for sth off the track, but still not wilderness, because of our baby, in case sth happened...
beach is very shady and empty, food is excellent but overpriced. swimming no good cause at low tide too shallow. there are places to explore on the other side of island, with kaiak or trekking, we didn't make it, though ;)
there are some friendly local people on the island, they have a generator in the evening but, which disturbs the peace a little.
ferry with long boat a little adventurous, when waves and wind! bring mosquito repellent!

If I get my rooms, it will be highest experience in my travel. Because of peack season, 3 private bungalows changed to 2 rooms in big villa, my sister need lie on added small bed in the room with parents. Double check with hotel before your booking if they can provide the rooms you want.
Anyway the lone island is so amazing quiet and surrounded by tropical trees, restaurant provide tasty breakfast and you can take free long tail boat trabsferring between island and chalong pier.Really like this small island, it is paradise!
The beach is not good, with too many stones. But the pool is very good, my baby enjoyed swimming in the pool. You should have mental preparations that many insects are around you. Maybe a frog will jump out when you open toilet seat, and if the food is left on floor ants squadrons will come.
Restaurant Tip:
Take free boat to Chalong pier, Kang Eyang@pier restaurant is very good. And you can buy everyday materials at 7-11 in pier.

Quiet and Relaxing, but very expensive food

This accommodation is best for a group or couple- I stayed alone and it was not a good idea. Transfers to main island are free. Staff are gorgeous, but food is very very expensive for Thailand- I paid extra tax and ended up paying 800 baht for a meal that shouldn't have cost me more than 300 baht. Nice and quiet and relaxing- and private beach, but beach not good for swimming because is very rocky. Also, you are not allowed to go bush-walking around the island which was disappointing. Breakfast included, but you get the same meal every day which can be boring- they mostly filled me up on toast which was disappointing. Loved the open bathroom - but the actual bedroom area is small and unfriendly.
