Amazing pool & location

Pool, view and landscaped gardens
6.3
This hotel needs a refurbishment. Pool and wedding venue are both gorgeous. Rooms are not well kept. Paint & plaster peeling, dimly lit, terrible hair drier, all the blinds need replacing and the open air bits upstairs are dusty & crumbling and all the wildlife at night messes on all the floor & furniture. But what can you expect for $100 AUD? Great location. Food for breakfast was very average. It needs a make over but the bones of it are good and it's close to Single Fin Bar.

Great location, terrible rooms

Location and swimming pool
6.7
Good stay but the room was extraordinarily disappointing with the bathroom a debacle. Worn and dilapidated the place is old. If it weren't for the swimming pool, the location, and the discounted room rate, we would have left.

The hotel need renovation.

The view, the pool and the sunset.
5.7
The hotel needs renovations, too expensive for what it has to offer, poor breakfast, expensive massage services, what the same moment that can have a good staff also have a bad one and you won't find a great diversity on guests from around the world, much of the hotel was taken by Chinese guest groups and wedding ceremony's.

Stayed here to visit Uluwatu surf breaks. Amazing pool right of top of the cliff line over the surf breaks. Rooms are tired but Ovation is amazing.

Due to the dog-fighting many mosquitos, at the time we get up in the morning face and extremities were terrible. Itching made us scratch over and over again during sleeping. Except mosquitos, Everything were good. Anti-mosquito agent should be confirmed every night when you stay there.

Horrible villas

Location, pool area
4.7
The hotel in itself was nice and the location is great. Unfortunately, we booked a two-storey villa and it was horrible. Bathroom was not connected to the bedroom, it was really dark and dirty and, worst, the villa next door had acess to our villa (no lock!). I can not recommend this hotel, or at least not the villa, to anyone.

Chaotic & Pity Hotel

View View View
4.3
The hotel has an excellent view of South Indian Ocean from the swimming pool. It is a pity the beauty is spoil by the following: 1. The swimming pool is open for the public. I believe there is a serious governance issues here. 2. The swimming pool has become a tourist attraction so there were group tours came all day and roaming around the swimming pool taking photo. So there is no serenity. Worst, the hotel sublease partial of land next to swimming pool to third party to open a bar The bar not emit loud music noises but bar patron uses the swimming pool changing room and toilet. 4. The wall of the room has either fungus or termite. In summary, I sincerely believe the hotel is mismanage and there is governance issues here. The owner is old Japanese who is rarely around anymore and the hotel is BOOT.
