Spacious room and great location
We stayed here for two nights and we had a wonderful time here. Although we didn't request for the airport transfer but when we did enquire it was very reasonable. Staff is very nice and helpful. We stayed in the Deluxe room and it was spacious and clean. Location was perfect, in walking distance from Sunday walking street. All in all, it was value for money.

Worth to go except the pool was renovation
We thought the pool is kind of open area, because we don't like to have trees and building blocking the blue sky, therefore we booked here. But too bad it was under renovation, they have another mini pool, for me is better than nothing but really mini which allow one person to swim only. Location is ok while within Old Town area, close to the Sunday market area. Room is clean except the bathroom tile on wall is a bit old. But overall we think this price for this hotel is good deal. Will consider to come back

Quiet gem in great location
My mum and I visited Chiang Mai in June and The Bodhi Serene Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. A good sized quiet hotel in the Old City close enough to walk around and to the markets. Breakfast was great, lots of options from western to asian food. Loads of restaurants close the hotel for other meals also. A great vegetarian place nearby on the road perpendicular (turn right outside the hotel then right at the first intersection to walks towards the markets, about 50m down is a the vegetarian place). We stayed in the one bedroom suite which was huge and had a nice kitchen and great bathroom. The hotel has two pools. One completely in the shade and very small. The rooftop pool looked amazing and was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. However, it was under maintenance when we stayed in June and we weren't able to use it. If would have been nice to know that when we booked as we would probably chosen somewhere else just for the pool. Being hot and sticky after trekking around all day, all we wanted to do in the afternoons was swim and read a book by the pool. Airport transfers were inexpensive and efficient (250 baht for pick up and 150 baht for drop off). Check in/out was seamless and efficient. The travel advisory was excellent (Tin). She gave us all the info for things to do in the area and gave good suggestions. Her recommendations were genuine (no affiliations or throwbacks for the services she recommended us to use) and she made all the bookings for us. We didn't have to do anything but tell her what we wanted to do. Overall, our stay here was great and we would definitely stay here again. Though I would double check the pool was available first!

Beyond expectation !!
If I were fly to Chiang Mai the second time, unhesitately I will book this hotel again. Terrific service, great location and delicious food. The lemonade honey water given us when we checked in was sososososos amazing that in the following days I was after the drink and so was the breakfast, nothing different from the five star hotel we live in Phucket; facilities are great both in aesthetics and utilization, and BTW we live in the exact room in the picture above. Their service is quite worth mention: knid of like kneening service. Thank you for providing us such good experience.

Pretty good, but massive amounts of obnoxious Chinese tourist.
I've stayed at Bodhi several times, but this time was the first time that I really noticed the hordes of loud and obnoxious Chinese tourist. Picture this, sitting by the beautiful pool with a group of loud tattooed Chinese tourist drinking profusely and playing loud & dated rap music, while the Thai staff just meekly serves them, clearly not happy with the situation but unable to do anything about it. Thai's don't like to shake the boat much, especially not the lower staff.

Beautiful Hotel
My 3rd visit to Chiang Mai, 1st to this hotel. Loved my room, the hotel grounds are lovely. They staff are all very nice and helpful. Didn't have breakfast included. Plenty of options for Breakfast down the road from the hotel. The pool was nice, but they need to buy some new deck chairs and umbrellas for the pool area.
