Advertised and actual totally different

Close to air port, close to town and accessible till late
Rang in advance to confirm late check in, it was here nor there that staff were not customer focused. Upon arrival, again staff were not customer focused but still made the effort to hand over key and give directions to room. Very very disappointed after a late arrival on a flight at 11.45pm to find room not made up, rubbish all over the floor, just like a total p..sty. Also pool rules not adhered to regarding noise that late at night. The offer was there to supply another room, but after advanced calls about late check in and requirement for early departure, no way would I recommend this place whilst existing management structure is in place...

Outdoor area, Laundry, Proximity to everything in Cairns
The accommodation was cheap which attracted us to stay. First room the air conditioner didn't work, wrong power plug and chord didn't reach the power point. I fell through the bed twice in less than 24 hours of checking in. On both occasions sitting on the bed, sorry couldn't even say it was from wild crazy sex ha ha. Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and got 2 towels. Saw the front reception and got another room immediately with extra towels, no questions asked, very helpful young lady. We didn't have a problem using communal showers and toilets and but they need to be cleaned regularly and the toilet paper rolls refilled. The parking on site was adventurous but it does require more parking spaces. You get what you pay for so in that regard it was tolerable.

6 beds room

Clean, comfortable and cheap
It needs to walk for 20-30 mins for the central and the night market. But it is cheap and clean, even though is the share toilet and the shower room.

aircon, quiet at night, pool
Disappointed at state/condition of the room. Paint was peeling, skirting boards incomplete/broken. Tiny balcony, not enough room for 2 people to sit comfortably. Had booked for 2 double beds and instead got 1 double bed and a single bunked bed - we are 2 professional adult women. The ad and photos were nothing like the actual room/hotel. It is more suited to backpackers as it has shared toilets and showers (with all rooms on the same level). The room was cheap however, so we got what we paid for!
