Although marketing itself as a two-star hotel, the rooms and facilities are of a much higher standard, matched by prompt, friendly service. The 24-hour reception, secure parking, and Internet access are just some of the amenities that make Bonanova Park Hotel an ideal alternative to the more expensive, inner-city hotels. Barcelona itself is a joy to explore, the Catalonian capital has something to offer everyone, from superb Mediterranean beaches, amazing cathedrals, world renowned museums and galleries, to a pulsing nightlife that never stops.

Clean, friendly staff, near to shopping
Sound proofing is not bad. Shower is strong with good heating. Bed is comfortable. Aircon is working well.

Great 3 star hotel value for its 2 star rating.

value, cleanliness, big rooms
Near supermarket, groceries, church and shopping area, quiet and nice neighborhood It would be good if breakfast was included in the rates

Quiet residential hotel

In a nice area with parks for little children
we chose the hotel for the parking, however, there are a handful of tricky to access spaces which you must pay 22 euros per day for. this was not clear at time of booking.

Cheep and cheerful

Clean, nice, fantastic showers!
the staff made all the difference for me, they always had a sincere welcoming smile for us, all issues were resolved with kindness, we always felt welcome. i read this often in the reviews and sometimes have a hard time understanding what difference it makes to the say, but in bonanova there was a difference – we never felt that they were simply doing there jobs, there was a true spirit of hospitality that somehow made me feel warm about the place, i always left and arrived with a smile, they helped me start and finish my day on a positive note. otherwise the hotel is quite regular, with a touch of niceties here and there. clean, pleasant reception with a real ambiance and a smart waiting room, brand new bathrooms and grohe raindance showers (fantastic!). the building itself is old but everything is kept very clean and it didn’t bother my aesthetic sensibilities because of the overall cheerfulness around it, after all it was all very affordable. i wondered before booking what difference it made that the hotel was a 2-star rather than a 3-star, well none really. other than when it’s marketed as a 2-star you leave happy. i read some comments on tripavisor about it being noisy, we didn’t hear much noise from the inside and the location is very quiet, i felt the staff make a fantastic effort to put people in rooms away from each other. but from time to time there’d be a random sound, so i think the potential is there if people are put in adjacent rooms.

good location with high price

it is close to the metro station, sans railway staion, bus and tram station.
the hotel has husa brand. being branded the price is very high and not all the comforts what husa has. hence the price should be low. the breakfast is also not up the standard. the menu has to be as husa standard.
