Very good location and nice staff
Location, staff
I had a nice stay at Bong House, the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was minimalistic with toast, jam and instant coffee. The location of Bong House is great, the metro station is close. The room was smaller than I expexted and the bathroom smelled strange. I got a heater for my room, because it was very cold in seoul during my stay. Overall I had a good stay.

Suitable for backpackers, but not for shoppers
Strategic location,happening surroundings,
Strategic location (opposite of Sungkyunkwan Uni),there are shops and stalls along the way from subway station to the guesthouse (mostly open till 9 something) Special experience - nice staying at the rooftop unit, only that the floor outdoor is too slippery after the rain, and my partner actually slipped and fell and get hurt. Washing machine is available but the drying machine is out of function. Good and kind host who helps to carry our heavy and bulky luggage down from 4th floor till the junction when the road is blocked and no car can enter due to the University events. Recommend for backpackers who enjoy happening surroundings, but not really recommend for people with bulky luggage.

There are better guesthouse at the same price
Pros: - Location (it is in Hyehwa, which is a shopping place by itself, and it is only one station away from Dongaenum. Walking distance to the Hyehwa station is ~5-10min, that is after they gave us a room at a different building which was behind McDonalds). There are also food stores nearby. - Cleanliness is not bad, but sometimes the rubbish are not thrown out daily, and bathrooms are not washed daily. It is a shared bathroom and the toilet is on a separate floor so it can be inconvenient, and the toilet clogged up once. Clean towels provided. No toiletries. - Staffs are friendly, speaks English. - You're allowed to leave your luggages after checkout as well. Cons: - Breakfast is bare minimum and it only starts at 9am if I recall correctly. Toasts + jam + coffee. No eggs, no peanut butter, no milk. - The rooms were really really small, it was like a store room beneath the staircase, with grey walls, one tiny window. You can barely turn or toss in the single beds as well. No TV, no cupboards, no mirror. Directions: use the directions given on the Bong House website, just note that Dunkin Donuts is no longer there, instead Olleh (which is like the telecommunication shop in Korea, red and white in colour) has taken over its place.

It's a nice place
I like Bong House. The owner is friendly. I appreciate for a customer direction. This customer must be with a very good heart. His direction was so important that help me to find the hotel location. Except for one thing, Baskin Robins has been closed and replaced by another store.
