Cheap, location
It was pleasant for a short stay. But as we were staying on a Saturday night, it tend to be quite noisy as you can hear hawkers preparing for the Gaya Steet Sunday market the whole night.

Budget & strategic location

budget lodge, strategic location
the location was really strategic. It is Jalan Gaya where Sunday market was just downstairs. i booked a family room with two queen bed. Unexpected, the room was quite big, which we can put one extra bed. overall its ok. But they just give us one key, not really suitable for us as we have 5ppl.

Overall Good

The room space for 4 person is big enough. The Hotwater system is good. The aircond is good.

Vorrect. What we expected

Location right next to restaurants, shopping malls, and company's main office.
Pleasant is a good word, room is very basic and runned down but does the trick, it is clean and location perfect for my visits to KK

price worthy

location, price, breakfast
spend 3 days in double room. room was standard as its price. fine. but facilities were bit old. (such as the towel and bed cover..) wasn't dirty actually, but was worn down, so dirt of the time was remained. in contrast with they noticed in web, it was hard to connect wi-fi in the room. and the shower pump machine in the room was so noisy when using. the weird smell was came through the drain hole in the bathroom.. anyways lobby was cozy and nice to take a rest using wi-fi. breakfast was fine. and the location is great.

Amongst the best location but with BED BUGS!!!

We stayed in this lodge when we visited KK 5 years ago. It was a good experience as the location is good and the staff is friendly. However, everything is different this time. When we got there, we were given a room with loud noise and dirty toilet (toilet bowl is not cleaned). We complained to the staff but he simply said he will ask cleaner to clean the toilet and can do nothing with the noise as there is no other room to change for us. With much anger, we request to talk to the boss. The boss suspects that it was the air-con problem and promised that he will ask someone to check it out. We went out for an early dinner and back again to check the status. The staff told us that the maintenance will only come at 10pm so we went out again to walk around at nearby places. We returned at 9 something and waited at the lobby. However, the maintenance is late. The boss might have sensed our dissatisfaction and asked the staff to give us a big room (that can accommodate up to 4 persons) to replace our original room without additional charges. We were much happier when we got the big room (even though we were reminded not to mess with the other double bed as we only pay for two). However, after the second night, we found that the bed has bed bugs!!! This is really terrible. My husband got bitten all over his body and the wound does not recovered after 2 days! Overall, this is a terrible experience and we will NEVER go back to the lodge again.
