Very noisy surroundings all night long.

City central, near centraal station and night life.
Unabled to get nice sleep. Restaurant below hotel never closed and noisy of people drinking. One early morning, a fight broke out and police has to come-over together with an ambulance. The mattresses were badly need replacement. I could feel the springs as they were going to came out of the mattress. Hotel management, pls and pls replace them.

Not bad

Close to the main station
It was really really small and had no lift there, but it is for every buildings in Amsterdam so i cant complain about this i think. There was no breakfast. And some staffs were good, some were not. And the room wasnt that clean Bt i really like the manager in the restaurant in the same building i miss him

Great Location

Convenience, in the heart of Amsterdam
My only prob is the staircase leading to the rooms, but that was expected. The rest was great. Free wifi.

Good location but terrible customer service

Good location, near the metro
The location was good, walking distance to the metro and many shops around. But my husband and I had a crazy experience. We notified the hotel that we would be checking in late due to our late flight. When we got there, the room assigned to us was given to a walk-in client. It was 1am and freezing for us to walk around and check other hotels nearby. Since our payment was non-refundable (we booked weeks before), we were placed in a creepy 6-bed room in the attic with no bathroom and no heaters. It was a halloween night. I didn't get any sleep because of the stress and frustration.i guess for the price we paid, we deserved to be treated like customers.

average hotel with a good location

best location
it has a v small signboard which made it almost impossible to see when we first came as there is a restaurant beside it and "hides" the signboard. the stairs are steep, if we are careless, we will fall down. wifi only in lobby.

i stay in the attic

its cooling enough in the attic
its bad enough for me to climb to the doorstep of my room. 3rd floor. then when i open the door of the room, i need to climb up another level again. i hate the steep stairs. there is only 1 public toilet to share with everyone. thats not very nice especially when we have ladies travelling with us.

Great location but small room

Very close to central station (train, bus, tram, metro)
Location is great, very close to Amsterdam Centraal Station, where I can start my journey to anywhere, domestic and overseas. I arrived from Brussels using Thalys at this station and from this station I also started my journey to other city and within Amsterdam. Hotel room is small, typical European hotel. Wifi for internet of my laptop was good but for my blackberry it was not stable. Another thing another thing, no elevator from ground to first level, which might be difficult for those with heavy luggage.

Small hotel

Good location. Just a few minutes walk from central station. The room is so small But too expensive. There is neither table nor chair in the room. No coffee. No drinking water. No breakfast.

No frills Hotel on a budget

Price and location was very attractive
we enjoyed the location as it is just minutes from the square and is near to the train station. the price for 2 persons was also very good. the only thing was that the tv reception was bad

Great location but small rooms

Situated very near the central station and close to the main sightseeing spots
from the amsterdam central station, the hotel was very easy to find. the room was small but beds were comfortable. there's a restaurant beside the hotel which is open until 1am which is convenient for late-night meal/snack/drinks.
