Worst I ever been

I can find anything good for the hotel except it's near Metro which only 3 mins walk
It's the worst hotel I have ever been during my stay in Europe trip. The room is small, dark, and smelly from washroom. It's old. It was not really near Termini train station, and we have spent half hour or more to locate the hotel, as there's no clear sign board outside the building. The room is terribly small and old, and it's dark and made it looks dirty. The staff are notreally helpful, as the wifi is poor connected, they didnt help much on that. The air conditioner is out of order, while is quite hot at that time, the air conditioner just give heat, but we find the remote control was out of battso we cant switch it off. We ask the staff for help but no action take at all.

Overall a good choice!

Great location, affordable price, very good customer service.
We were looking for a clean hotel, with a good location, and an affordable price. Very difficult to find all of these qualities in Rome. We are not picky about the size or the luxury of the room. So this hotel was perfect for us. We were able to walk everywhere. The breakfast was simple and included: coffee/cappucino, juice, yoghurt, croissant, and toast. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke good english.
Travel tip: The hotel is situated right by the central train station. A metro stop is also right outside of the hotel. This is very good if you have a lot of luggage like we did and don't want to take a taxi.

Close to train station, small room

Walking distance to train station, free wi-fi
Hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the train station. There was free wi-fi. Breakfast (yogurt, pastries, toast and jams, coffee, juice) was included. The room was pretty small, but we didn't spend much time in there anyway. Had a private bathroom and mini refrigerator. The elevator was extremely tiny, so if you have a lot of luggage, you'll have to take multiple trips. It wasn't the nicest hotel, but it was convenient and had everything we needed. When we first checked in, the man at the desk gave us a map of Rome and some suggestions on what to visit and how to get there. Very nice. Overall, we were happy with the hotel.

The building got a traditional but useful lift

breakfast was not bad
It was so annoying to use wifi that you need to enter the ID and password almost every five to ten minutes.

Ok but small room

Close to Rome Termini
Very average breakfast compared with the excellent breakfasts we had in Venice and Florence. The hotel borders on a fairly rough area. To the left of the hotel is fine however go to the right one block and it's not so nice.

Good location but small room

Located near the train station
It wasn't difficult to locate some 5 minutes away from Roma Termini Station. It took us awhile to get the front door opened as we weren't used to the doorbell system. After gaining entry to the building, we were a little taken aback to see the vintage elevator complete with manual doors and metal gratings (You can't find these in Singapore). After a few minutes figuring out how to get our baggage to level 2, it was a little disappointing to be greeted with a small counter with a helpful but somehow very aloof guy. He gave us a map and directions in a very scripted manner with minimum warmth but maybe that's just how he is. The room was small but adequate with most basic necessities. Breakfast was simple with just a pastry each, some biscuits with spreads, and coffee/tea. There's a Metro station conveniently located just 3 minutes away.
