Shimmering avant-garde architecture surrounds this new hotel in the up-market Santa Fe, just outside Mexico City. Part of the futuristic skyline of Santa Fe's business district, the Vesta Hotel Convention Center is a fitting addition. A large steel and glass structure, interiors are new and luxurious -- the atrium lobby bar is a sleek modern space for cocktails and rooms are contemporary-style cocoons with plush white beds and designer bathrooms. The titular Convention Center is a mile from here and some of the city's most creative architecture is on the same block including the washing machine. For sightseeing, Chapultepec Park is around ten kilometers away and for a hip dining experience, the restaurants and clubs of Polanco are a short drive away.
