Simple and clean motel

Location, Clean, Comfortable

Although the room is abit small, it is fairly clean and comfortable. It is nearer to Mia station than Suyu station. And it is just a few stations away from Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. There are also quite a few shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were also very courteous and friendly.

Nice Hotel

Warm, Easy to access Public Transfortation, Nice Bathroom
9.3
First of all, I stayed 17 days and 16 nights here. Actually I've been read all reivews (or comments) about this hotel before I visit Korea. Some people left review about 'Too cold during the night.' So I've been worried about that matter. But when I got there, management staff said they've been changed new management in October. And when I stayed first night, I had good night sleep without any problem. The room was pretty warm and even you can control room temperature. But I want to bring some issue about toilet. When I sit toilet, toilet is shaking. I think they need to fix that problem. Other than that, everything was fine.

Nice rooms, but small and in need of slight repair

Clean bed, jacuzzi, stonework design
7.7
Pros: The room includes a big screen TV, a computer, a bed, a toilet, a jacuzzi/shower, a fridge. There is an arch on the wall at the head of the bed that I think is a nice design. The room's design is nice overall, even though the room was almost too small for our luggage. Check-in and check-out were effortless. We didn't spend as much as we usually do, so I guess it was pretty good for the money. Cons: The room includes some dark stains on the walls in a few spots. Kind of high up on the wall, so I don't know what that's about. There are also indentations in the walls in a few places. Almost like someone took a hammer and hit the wall, not enough to break through, but to make circular pits in the wall. Some of these indentations spelled the Korean word so I imagine some woman got dumped or cheated on and took out her frustration on the wall, maybe? Other than those issues, the room was pretty clean. The jacuzzi doubles as a shower. There are two showers heads, a large overhead kind and a handheld kind with a hose, but the knob is broken to switch to the overhead shower head. The handheld head is more like a strong mist than a spray. Another thing, the sink doesn't drain very fast. If you wash your hands for more than two or three seconds, the water will collect and take a while to drain.

Not a place to stay

Not much to rate more than one, therefore I am sorry.

It was a two hour stay motel where people running in and out for a short stay. most of them were couples and it was a loud, cold, small room, yet was a clean one. I wouldn't go back. Sorry.

Small, cold, and noisy!

People at the desk were kind.

the room was too small even to put two luggages. it was too cold during the night and asked for an extra blanket; declined saying they don't have an extra blanket. seems as if they control the temperature at the front desk. it is a love motel. you could hear the guests having what so ever. i dislike to stay here again although the people at the front desk were nice and kind.
Hotel Feature Tip: Small, cold, and loud.

Lovely hotel with cute rooms

The rooms are warm, cozy and very clean. The bathtubs are extra large and have jets, it was really nice.

We had a great stay at Candy hotel. The location was in a quiet street, but still close to the shops and restaurants. The room was small, but came with all the personal cosmetics one needs. The TV was a huge flat screen and came with all the channels you need. I recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially couples.

A great hotel for couples

warm, convenient and free food and coffee

This was our 4th night staying in this hotel and second time in Seoul. The experience was great. It had a carpark for my rental car and provide free toast and freshly-brewed coffee/latte 24/7. Bottled water were unlimited too. The room is cosy and most importantly, warm, as it was -17 degree Celsius outside in Seoul. Unlike many hotels or motels that do not have lifts, Candy Hotel provided very good luggage access. 50in LG LCD screen is awesome. Close to Seoul Metro Suyu or Mia. If too cold or too lazy, busy stop was 20 metre from the door step of the hotel which only took us one stop to Mia Station. The down part is it is a love hotel and may not be suitable for traveller with young children. But the place is clean and safe, and is not doggy at all in my opinion. Definitely will stay on my next visit.

Shopping Tip: Lots outlet discount shops near Mia Station even they look like regular high street shops. Adidas for example. Suyu market can get you very good local breakfast and fresh retreats if you don't mind to try.

Cozy Hotel

Jacuzzi, Big Flat Screen TV and lots of privacy
7.7
We stayed at Candy Hotel for 6D5N and we had a very enjoyable time. Considering it was winter, it was very important to have a cozy hotel where we could recuperate from the cold. The room was well-heated and we were pleasantly surprise to find out that the floors were heated as well. It is conveniently situated near the subway, in between the Mia and Suyu stops which made it convenient to get around. It takes around 20-30mins to get to the central parts of Seoul. The only issue would be that this is obviously a love hotel. The entire district is filled with these sort of hotels so I would not recommend it for families. That aside, it's actually a very safe area with a lot of privacy. It does not look tacky nor "dirty".
