Average hotel with basic amenities

Location, Free Parking, Convenient
Stay in this hotel for the 1st 2 nights in Hobart. Short distance from the city center. Easy to locate as it is besides the main road. They have a restaurant on the ground floor with live music and slot machines. All the rooms are located on the 2nd floor. Since it is besides the main road and there are live music in the restaurant, for traveler who is light sleeper, please do think twice. Did not try the food in the restaurant and so no comment. There is a KFC restaurant just besides the hotel. The water basin is located in the same room with your bed. The shower and toilet room can be too small for people of a bigger build. Not much view from the hotel room. Ample parking lot. Wifi is not stable.

room was not set up.waited til after 6pm 2 checkin
Was terrible. Was unable to access breakfast. Our early check-in was after 6pm. Cot provided didn't include mattress. There were no blankets on any beds. The room was tiny and the staff were RUDE. No compensation for our waiting. Will not be staying again.

Regret, feel sorry for myself

couldn't think of any
I booked this hotel because of it's low rate and not-so-bad reviews. Besides, it's just 10 min drive away from Hobart city centre. Most of other hotels in Hobart are usually at a much higher rate. But apparently, I made a very bad choice. I booked to stay in this hotel for one night, and then back to this hotel again for one more night before I leave Hobart. After staying for the first night, the room condition was so bad that I had to cancel my other night! Gladly I just need to pay cancellation fee. The hotel rooms are on the second floor above the hotel bar/restaurant. So you can imagine how noisy it is. I heard doors banging, people talking/shouting right outside my room after midnight. Room is old, tired, dirty and poorly maintained. Check-in, check-out are done at the cashier at the bar, however, there's no staff stationed there. I had to stand there and wait for someone to address me. No elevator, that means you have to carry all your luggage from the car and walk up the stairs to your room. All in all, I really regret that I booked this hotel and I'm glad that I was able to cancel my second night booking.

Clean, Nice Staff

Clean, Nice Staff, No frills
The hotel is a simple and clean one. The room is suitably sized for a night's stay. For travelers with vehicle, this is a good hotel to stay at a relatively cheap rate. I would come back again.
