Cheap hotel, but ok value for money

Free wifi, English speaking staff, pool
The Casa Angkor is well located, being near the centre of Siem Reap and a 10 minute walk to pub street. The hotel was generally clean for both the facilities and the rooms. Free wifi is also available. However, the wifi generally doesn't extend to the rooms, so you need to be in the pool area (which is full of mosquitoes) or the lobby to access it. My room had low water pressure through the shower, I suspect due to the shower head being fully of rust or calcium buildup. The hot water didn't last for long either, maybe for 2 minutes or so. In saying that, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and free bottled water is provided. Breakfast is of fairly good quality and variety if you get there before 9am. I would return to the hotel, although despite its flaws, it is a good location. And considering the cost, I still believe it has value for money. As they say in Asia, Sabah sabai.

Location, staff, accommodation
We've stayed at the Casa Angkor before, enjoyed it so much that we naturally chose to stay here again. In a quiet little street and only a very short tuk tuk ride to Pub Street and the markets, it's the obvious choice.

Very good

Facilities, swimming pool, location
It was my 2nd visit in this hotel as I enjoyed first time a lot. The hotel is great itself and the pool with the bar can mak your day if you're too tired with sightseeing. The rooms are nice and cosy, with nice wooden furniture and floor. Defienietly recommend it one more time!

Great always help friendly polite staff

1. Very helpful friendly staff . They showed a real interest in ME. 2. Was close to shops and Pub St 3. Was very quiet even with Contiki Tour stopping there
The whole Siem Reap experience was made perfect by staying at the Casa Angkor Hotel

Hotel not walking distance to 'downtown' for me...

staff, hotel character friendliness
It was very hot when I was in Siem Reap. The air conditioner in my first room could not get the temperature below 30 degrees, second room only a bit better. Lobby, dining room, bar all open air so it was very hot.

A hotel in need of TLC

Near to town
Checkin was quick. We were only given one room keycard which was not helpful as we had different plans. The room was basic. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable for me. Despite requesting for a quiet room, we were given one that was right by the pool and bar, so you can imagine how loud that was in the evenings. Airconditioning was appalling. We had to leave the keycard in place in order to cool down the room. As a result, because we only had one, we had to call someone to open up the room for us. Overall, there are lots to improve on in terms of facilities but it was bearable stay

The quality of service awesome

Well maintained which is hard to find in Souteast Asia, the pool was superb, just a short walk to the night market/ dinning area and other dinning
I would definitely book this hotel again. The breakfast had a lot of choices and it was good food.Well maintained which is hard to find in Souteast Asia, the pool was superb. The only thing I didn't like was the wireless but that is a problem all over southeast Asia but the business center had computers so not such a problem.

Wonderful stay at a Great Value

Great Location, Very friendly and helpful staff, great pool for relaxing
I had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and able to assist with anything that was needed. They also have bicycles that you can borrow for free for two hours to ride around the city. The breakfast buffet was nice and had a good variety while the pool was perfect for cooling off after a long day at the temples. Definitely would stay here again.

good location - can walk downtown

location, friendly staff, small pool
Staff were friendly, facilities were fine but nothing to get excited about. I stayed 5 nights and asked if I could check out an hour later on my final day. The manager initially said it would cost an extra $10, which I turned down then he said I could stay an extra half an hour which I also turned down as he seemed to begrudge it, maybe this is because it was Khmer New Year, but a little flexibility would've been nice after an extended stay in the hotel. I had limited hot water in the shower most days but it was just enough for one person (again perhaps because of the busy holiday period). The room was fine, pool was quite small and shady so I didn't use it in the end.

nor even a 2 star, very poor.

only one the swimming pool.
Upset that our booking was not there when we arrived, it took an hour to sort that out. Hotel advised that cost was $39,80 us, which was much cheaper that your price, I would like to know the reason for this. I think both of these are serious problem.
