Beautiful oasis in Anjuna
My friend and I booked casa anjuna very last minute and quite late in the day. Welcomed in, showed to our beautiful room and settled, we didn't actually leave the hotel much until we had to move on! The pool is a dream as are the friendly and helpful staff. It's understated old school Goa, highly recommended!!

Gorgeous heritage hotel
Antique rooms, garden setting, restaurant setting
Casa Anjuna, in quieter , leafier Anjuna, North Goa, is a converted Portuguese mansion, packed with character and charm. It is open and full of gorgeous spots to sit, making it ideal in the rainy season for sitting and drinking marsala chai or a gin and tonic and watching rain fall on the lush garden setting. Most rooms feature four poster beds and antique furniture and many have sit outs and balconies. There are so many lovely rooms, it's hard to pick and even the base level rooms are a great choice. Staff are friendly and immensely helpful, there's a lovely pool, the restaurant offers a range of good choices and room prices start at $108 in the low season. While most of the rooms at Casa Anjuna's are lovely to stay in, one of the villa's best features is all the shared spaces. The garden setting restaurant at Casa Anjuna serves meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day (very handy if it's rainy). The room tariff includes a generous breakfast with both western and delicious Indian options. The lunch and dinner offer a range of classic Goan dishes and are a good option if you want to eat in. Casa Anjuna offers four types of rooms, each one with it's own charm. My favourites were the Luxury Rooms (Casa Favourites) Rooms 1&2, on the ground floor of A Block as they have the lovely verandahs overlooking the front garden and are close to the shared areas. (But they would lack privacy in the busy season). Room 4 on the ground floor near the restaurant in A block is nice in very low season if it's quiet (but otherwise would be very public).

I was treated like a maharadja...
the amazingly beautiful garden; the ever watchful and friendly staff; the large much comfy rooms in a large mansion built in the old goan style
A great experience.

Charming hotel but somewhat overpriced
Room size, charm, friendly staff
Casa Anjuna was lovely! Nice grounds, unique decor, spacious rooms, great air con...the only thing I'd say is that I felt it was overpriced for what it was. No spa (in an area known for spa treatments), minimal restaurant, 20 minute walk to the beach, and my bathroom needed a serious overhaul. If they priced it more appropriately (or it was the same property, but right on the beach) this would be the perfect place for a few quiet days at the beach!

7 days in off season
the beautiful garden, the nice open design with old furnitures, the quietness
for 7 great days we were almost the only guests in late off season. all friendly staff caring only for us :) hotel was getting prepared for season, but this did not bother us, we enjoyed the lovely tropical garden and the open space of the hotel. Note: ( not hotel ! ) Anjuna market was still closed as of off season, but there are local shops around and lots of restaurants in walking distance

Nice quaint hotel in a good location!
Location, proximity to beach and service!
Had a nice time on a 2 day visit - the manager, was friendly and helpful..most guests are elderly Russians and that contributes to the peaceful quiet of the hotel, though it is very close to the nightlife of Anjuna..only negative is the lack of room service..will definitely revisit

Beautiful place and very friendly & helpful staff
Great setting and quiet location
I stayed during the beginning of monsoon so I was the only person there. The staff were great and the hotel really nice. I love the Portuguese decor. I'll definitely be back.

Lovely hotel, a little oasis
Nice rooms and very quiet
Stayed with a friend. Very nice oasis in the middle of Anjuna heat. Heavily populated with fellow russians, no other turists in sight. Lovely little spa facility and great massage. Breakfast was a bit boring and it is served on a patio. Did not see any roof terrace. Lovely staff and nice food.

Charming boutique hotel with friendly staff
Good location and clean
Casa Anjuna is a good option to 5-star hotels in Goa. One gets the Charm of an old Goa Mansion while still getting decent service in Goa which is sometimes hard to find in non 5 star hotels. The pool although pleasant to look at, could be larger so that more guests would want to use it. Otherwise, a good value for money.
