Almost good
First, the bad: the room was right next to the main road so cars and bikes with loud exhausts woke us up every night. The door handle was broken on the inside and after informing the front desk, they still didn't fix it. There were no bars on the windows and intruders could've climbed in at any time as we were on the ground floor and no, closing the windows would've meant there would be no air circulation. The breakfast was nothing to shout about and the egg station chef was rude. The room was bare with hardly any furniture. The booking came with dinner but it was not specified on the voucher so we wasted the first night's dinner. The good: the room given was big and clean and the bathroom was adequate. The dinner provided was nice with an excellent view of the golf course. The location is good as it is in between towns. Really struggling to find something nice to say about the place but for the price we paid, it's really not worth it. Don't go during peak season and better to spend your money on a nicer place.

Central location, nice hotel
Went during Labour Day long weekend. Comfortable stay, good breakfast buffet. Nice 5 min walk along the golf course opposite the hotel to the Smokehouse. No aircond but temp was moderate-cool. We chose this hotel as the photo showed wide open grounds but that was actually the view of the hotel taken from within the golf course! Hotel itself does not have big garden, only has narrow strips of flora here and there. But overall it is well maintained and staff were attentive. Great views from the top. Don't mind staying here again as it's central between Tanah Rata and Brinchang. Traffic jam will be verrrrrry bad towards Brinchang during holidays (like Labour Day) so plan your itinerary well ahead.

Cleanliness need to be improved
1. Leaky tap/sink, I just found the water is on the floor always. That makes it slippery. 2. The carpet is wet, just request for towel to cover it. Not sure what happened to it.

Overall Satifactory
Lack of accessibility for luggage mobility. redundancy of extra steps from lift landing to room at level 2. got a big bug welcoming us on the bed even after the housekeeping mentioned it was already cleaned. the bug was bettle kind about 5cm length...my children were startled that it just fell off from the bedsheet. location is not too bad though as it was away from the hustle and bustle town area...

Great place to stay for short getaways
I had no idea that the Casa De La Rosa Hotel had its origins as the Golf Course Inn from the 1970s rather than a recently built hotel. Its architecture is that of the original Golf Course Inn from but renovated to look contemporary and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful while the food is very good. This isn't a luxurious 5 star hotel, therefore don't expect a very wide variety of complimentary breakfast buffet spread. Casa De La Rosa sits in between Brinchang and Tanah Rata and right in front of the hotel is the famous Sultan Ahmad Shah golf course. There are no convenience stores or restaurants in the vicinity, therefore you'll have to drive or take a cab or bus to either Brinchang or Tanah Rata if you prefer to dine out. I find it interesting that the hotel's coffee house/dining room offers a steamboat package dinner, if you like steamboat dining. There isn't much to do if you're holed up in this hotel. There's a very small garden with two wooden gazebos at the back of the premises and that's pretty much it. Casa De La Rosa unfortunately doesn't have a vast grounds like Strawberry Park Resort, where you can roam around and take pictures. If you have children with you and intend to leave them at the hotel while you attend some conference or business meeting elsewhere, they're likely to get bored. If you like a quiet atmosphere away from the chaotic traffic in Brinchang or Tanah Rata, this is the place to stay. Room rates are too steep for backpackers on a budget or those just wanting basic accommodation. The room which I stayed in met my expectations. Cleanliness is top notch and there's a mini fridge (unstocked, so bring your own drinks), a 32" flat screen TV with ASTRO channels and free WiFi for every floor. A mini safe is provided to store your valuables and the room has amenities like a hair dryer. By the way, there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. It does get cold at night but it would be nice if the hotel rooms are air condi

satisfactory
somehow the golf view rooms are very noisy as they are facing the main road. the noise can drag till 2 AM. when the weather is hot, the room i some how quite warm as there are no fans or air conditioners around. it would be nice if they have at least fan to keep the air circulated. other than that, no complains...
