Looks more like a hospital then hotel

It was fine. My room and sheets were clean . Breakfast on the other hand is not so good. Second day they put out bagguete and bread from the day before(hard like a rock) Nice restaurans around and there is Mcdonalds . If u walk 2 corners they have bus that goes to the center of Rome.

Quiet oasis in a busy city

Quiet and peaceful, close enough to the major sights, only 3 metro stops from the Vatcan, great price.
My friend and I were very pleased with our choice. As an old religious house it is very much like an old hotel! Rooms very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Supermarkets only a short way. 50 minute walk to the Vatican or tube stop just around the corner and then only three stops away. Hint: come out of cornelian station at Aurelian exit, walk down hill a little to next main road turn right at McDonalds - a welcome landmarks! Can't get lost! The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast adequate, cereal, croissants etc. well recommended.

Casa La Salle Improvements Needed

1. Peaceful & calm atmosphere, 2. Room cleanliness, 3. Easy access to Metro & Bus
our stay was fine for the price that we paid. However the following need improvements: hygenic handling of food during breakfask needs to be exercised. Staff picked up leftover buns by guests on the tables with their bare hands and put them back in the baskets. Some of the glass milk pitchers were dirty on the outside which then makes one wonder how clean on the inside and how clean all the food containers and cutlery. Phone instructions in the rooms on how to contact the front desk should be standard. Front desk staff need to fully understand what'hospitality' means and to control who answers their phones. One man answered the phone and nastily said to me "why don't you speak Italian!. When I said I didn't know how, at which he hung up on me. I called back asking for the same man and the female said he was gone, no apology whatsoever. General comment that we go to Italy to visit the sights, certainly not to deal with the brusque, arrogant, rude, bordering on obnoxious, unrefined manners of Italians. Any improvements with this statement would make the whole tourist experience much, much better.

everything was good.

It was really good. Bed sheet was changed after two days. Staff was friendly and room really clean. Breakfast and location are ok. It you stay in Rome for at least 2 days and intended to visit at least 3 attractions, you should really but a city pass. It is cheaper. Otherwise entrance ticket for anything is more than 10 EUR already.

wonderful place for visiting down town

It's very safe, good price, and convenient location to take the Metro to go to any places in Rome. My wife and I both love this place.
My wife, my step son and I stayed in this look more like a school or campus type of hotel for 2 nights and we both love this place very much . We booked this hotel in advanced and the rate was quite reasonable. This hotel offer the continental type of breakfast and the food is sufficient and with variety of bred, fruit, and all other deserts. For the money that we pay is quite reasonable. The room is very clean with deep cold facet water but it's quite good for drinking comparing to most of the water fountain the water quality is quite good. The environment and the outdoor scenery full of trees and grass around, it's very nice and quiet. The best thing is this hotel is quite close to the major metro line and only walking for 5 to 7 minutes and you can reach McDonald and the train station is just nearby. And there are a bunch of the restaurant around with the decent price for Italy food and other style of dishes. You have a lot to select and the surrounding environment won't keep you bored. It's quite safe to take the Metro even in the late night because a lot of people will be hang out in the bars and restaurants all the nights. This hotel is so closed to the avenue to down town metro but inside of the campus you can hardly to see any traffic or hear any noise around. It's good for the whole family with the kids here. You feel quite secured. The receptionist is a lady who is quite young and with very good attitude in helping us figuring out the direction and the place we like to visit. The staffs are very hospitality. All of us love this place and we will definitely return if we have the chance to go back to Italy. Thanks to the hotel staffs and we had very good time there.
