Good hotel in Macau

Rooms, casino, service

Good option in Macau for those who want comfort yet don't want to pay the money demanded by the big chains (sands, MGM, venetian etc...) The hotel was clean, service was good and next time I go to Macau, I would stay here again.
Restaurant Tip: The Cafe Margaret near the Grand Lisboa has amazing egg tarts.

First off, the price for the room was very very reasonable, compared to most of the other hotels in Macau. I have stayed at many other hotels in the city, and this is a reasonable price. Do not expect this to be in the top tier of hotels, which you would be paying more than double for. For the price, it will give you a very decent size and stay. The staff was very friendly. Wish they were faster with receiving the info from Agoda. Something seems to be a delay between both sides. Didn't have a chance to try the room service or restaurants, so no comment. Macau is a small city with two distinct areas. The Macau side is more the classic section with the casino that have been known to macau. The Cotai house many of the newer casinos, ie venetian. There is a lot of food and shopping in the Macau city side with many local restaurants serving Chinese foods that are known classics in the area. Macau has several places to shop with high and low quality and brands. The Canal shops caters towards a mid to high level brands. With the inclusion of the Four Seasons section, the canal shops has many many high end european brands. The food court is also an excellent way to meet the different taste of a large group. Prices are not always the cheapest, expecially with HK just a ferry ride away.

Good hotel, bit far from the action

BIg rooms with large tv, nice bathroom, good bed. Nice lunch- and dinerbuffet at the restaurant.

Good hotel with proper and big rooms and a good soft bed. Upon arrival everything was arranged right. Nice little casino. Free shuttlebus to the hotel and the border gate. Good food at the restaurant, we recommend the lunchbuffet and the japanese dinerbuffet! Swimming pool was closed during our stay, though it looked very nice.

Best deal in town

Great rooms at reasonable prices

This hotel is a real 4 star hotel. The room was clean as new, amenities were plentiful and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel also has restaurants, an indoor swimming pool and a casino. The location is quite good as well. It is within walking distance from the ferry terminal, The Sands and The Fishermen's Wharf. A taxi ride to the center of the city (Largo do Senado / Grand Lisboa / Wynn) takes about 5 minutes and costs around 15 MOP. Try their buffet restaurant on the second floor, it has great food at reasonable prices (65 MOP for lunch).
Nightlife Tip: Make sure you watch The House of Dancing Waters at the City of Dreams. And there is a good nightclub named D2 at the AIA tower, close from the Grand Lisboa.

seemed like a 5 star hotel with very clean sheets and room. the hotel is near to the macau ferry terminal, the sands, the fisherman wharf, as well as the grand prix museum and wine museum. to get to the ferry terminal, you can take the hotel shuttle bus that leaves every 30 minutes. try their buffet restaurant on the second floor. the lunch buffet was around 65 mop, good and delicious. overall a pleasant stay.
Shopping Tip: A bit far from the old downtown, it's about a half an hour walk.
