last minute stay

Louis on Reception, centrally located to all city shopping and events,
parking is a bit of bummer, as its in the next street in the Sydney Hilton and you don't find out until you have to park your car in a busy city street and run inside. Luckily there were 2 of us as my husband parked in a loading zone! the room was small but really clean and cosy. Its a shame there is no view as the buildings are too close next door and the building is now dwarfed. The interior is spectacular, with ornate stairwells and many old photos and plenty of nooks to sit and reflect. The bar was closed at 9pm so that was a bit of a bummer, it would have been nice to sit in the comfort of the bar on a rainy night! Louis on Reception was a true professional, from the moment he greeted us it was some of the best service I have received - ever!

No phone access and noisey air conditioner

It's Decor, location in inner city , staff resionablly helpful
Slept well enough even though the air con was as noisy as our flight from Brisbane, the unavailability of room service or any food source on a Sunday night is grossly unacceptable, no Phone access but when I questioned it, I was offered another room same location 1 floor above as to access a phone but what the hay it was for room service Oh! There is no rooms service so we stayed in the same room that was booked.. Sadly I did get the room and a heavily discounted rate but I would have preferred to pay more for a better room with Windows, would have been nice but I guess you pay less you get less . Amazing in the retail service industry I will not be giving the street's name sake a good report at all hope it improves for others.
