Good, clean and friendly.

location, big room and affordable.
Excellent, only problem is that you can't use Internet in the room, they should definitely start providing that.

Great location Does what it says on the tin!

Quiet, great location
The hotel is right on the seafront. Friendly greeting and given a few sets of keys with front day access 24 hours. Rooms are fairly small but more than enough space to sleep in! Comfy beds, tv with dvd player, nice modern bathroom. Nothing to an amzing standard, but if your looking for a decent place to stop at this is it.

The most comfortable beds in Brighton

comfortable beds, friendly staff, free internet
if you've not been to brighton before then throw your "value" ideas out the window - this is a very expensive place to stay. for a basic room with en suite you'll pay a night in a place that's been around for a hundred years or so... if you want modern luxury look elsewhere. this was the 10th time i've visited brighton in the last 6 years and cecil house ranks near the top of the list. it's only a 10 minute walk west of the pier, right on the front, and it's pretty good but not special in most respects. where cecil house stands out is in the customer service and the beds - there is someone on reception 24/7 and every effort was made to make sure we had a good stay. then there's the beds... you just don't want to get up - if i've slept in a more comfortable bed i can't remember it.

Very friendly but no elevator

Location and seaview
The place looks a bit run down but the bathroom is fine and the beds were very comfortable. And - a big plus for me - the heating was actually on.

Great located

good view and great location
Staff was excellent and helpful. Room was small but with great sea sight view. They tidied up room every day. Maybe little advice e.g. to make some changes e.g. change of furniture and bed, painting the walls. In conclusion it was value for money.

Great value with good location

Helpful and courteous staff, very clean hotel, great location
Room was very clean with good facilities and a great seafront view. The hotel was very convenient for the seafront, pier, shops, bars, etc. Breakfast could be pre-booked for per person and was great value with a choice of full english or other hot dishes and fruit juices, cereals, toast and unlimited tea and coffee. All staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
