The Mill Resort & Suites, Aruba

Nice clean, cheap but good little hotel. Royal room is spacious (and nice jetted tub!), bathroom is small, mini fridge is useful, good air con. the pool's nice but the ocean's better and is only a 3 minute walk. the Mill has its own beach chairs and beach towels which is useful (and palm beach is niiice). had a couple problems with the safe in the room and the phone, but maintenance came within 5 minutes of calling them. Food at the hotel is pretty expensive for what it is..you can walk along boardwalk to other hotel restaurants (many of which are even more expensive!) but we rented a cheap car to run us around the island for just over $20/day...good way to see the island on the cheap and also try the restaurants and beaches further afield. all-in-all the hotel was really good, and definitely worth saving some money on the hotel because the island is pretty expensive in general (e.g. $8 beer in the hard rock cafe!) 'Reserved' a car at the car rental desk and the next morning it wasn't going to show up for another 2 hours so we had to call another company...not a disaster but pretty annoying! Having said that, poor customer service seems to be fairly common in Aruba (though most staff in hotels and restuarants are fairly good)

1 - The Cooler Room (223 A) we get is a fridge not a fridge, so it was not for nothing; 2 - The stove is electric and the air conditioner on the quaerto is hard to cook, let alone had only two mouths the stove, and 3 - to wallow SUMIU washing my wife's face over the sink in the following days after the storage room, 4 - We were forced to leave over the side of the sink things as toothpaste, toothbrush; comb, toothbrush, razor, etc. ..) therefore has no drawer in the sink, 5 - metals existing in the bathroom and the kitchen are small and hard to handle without saying that the Pedestrian hurt because they are sharp, 6 - Arrange for the machinery, sale of soft drinks and ice in the corridor of rooms, 7 - Parking insuficinete for the amount of rooms available at The Mill;
