Friendliness of the staff.
Incredibly beautiful view of the pacific ocean even from hotel room balcony.
Very little things that I found on the bad side.
Hotel Terraza Del Pacifico is located toutside the southern Costa Rican city of Jaco, this means that it is close enough avoid the crowds and people of the city per say but close enough to have the city accessible by car or taxi.
The view of the Pacific ocean from anywhere in the hotel even from your hotel room makes this hotel unique compared to other hotels where the view of the ocean is either blocked by trees or is at a long distance from the hotel and cannot be appreciated.
The hotel staff is extremely friendly, most of the staff actually live at the hotel so the are readily available in emergencies.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel Terraza Del Pacifico is close to many attractions ie tourist and national parks so it is good to use as a home base for sight seeing.

The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, the food is good and reasonably priced
The beach is unsuitable for swimming (posted by the hotel). The hotel is located 5 miles from town, requiring a $5 cab rise each way. I found their WIFI connection inoperable for most of my two night stay.
Overall, I liked the hotel. Having said that, I would stay in town next time, as it would be much more convenient.
Restaurant Tip : Eat at Los Amigos in Jaco. The dood is really good and the prices are reasonable.
