The hotel was basic, but the staff were friendly.
It is a 5-10 min drive from the airport, but the airport transfer is a little funny. Instead of someone meeting you there, you need to get an Orange Taxi to the hotel which they then pay for. So it is technically a free airport transfer, but if you prefer that someone meet you at the airport with a sign holding your name, just be aware that this is not the case. Going back to the airport a member of the hotel staff will take you.
It is a good place for a night or two if you are on your way to or from the airport.

I would stay here again when I have an early morning flight. There is not much to do right around the hotel but the hotel restaurant is nice. I'm told that there is an easy bus you can take to San Jose but I didn't try so I can't confirm it. Good choice if you just want an easy overnight stay to catch an early morning flight.

the people at the front desk were very helpful and the free airport shuttle is a plus. having the breakfast be included is nice as well. the only negative was the extra guest charge. when you pay for a double room the anticipation is that the price is included, but we were charged $15 extra essentially for having someone sleep in a bed and not use the shower. also, there isn't much to do near the hotel so it's best for a one night's stay prior to flying from one of the airports.

Nicht von Google Maps verwirren lassen, es gibt kein zweites Airport Hotel, sondern nur das Hotel Aeropuerte.

das Airoporto Hotel liegt günstig am Flughafen von San Jose, ist somit schnell ohne Verkehrsstau Gefahr zum Abflug und nach der Ankunft vom Flughafen zu erreichen. Es ist ruhig und romantisch wie eine Oase im Verkehr um San Jose und diese Stadt liegt weit ab vom Flughafen. Bei Fahrten durch das schöne Costa Rica braucht man so nicht in das hoch Diebstahl gefährdete San Jose.
Das Frühstück ist mit dem Gallo Pinto eines der besten im Lande.
Die Bedienung im Hotel und im Restaurant ist aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und ausgezeichnet
Restaurant Tip:
Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Shuttlebus oder bezahltes Taxi ist im Hotelpreis inkludiert. 2 internet Plätze incl.

we kwamen laat aan op de luchthaven van san jose. het hotel verzorgt gratis het transport van en naar de luchthaven middels de locale taxi die door de receptie van het hotel wordt betaald. prima ruime kamer met een goed bed (volgens latijns-amerikaanse standaard). hotel heeft goede banden met locale autoverhuur bedrijf poas. auto werd keurig bezorgd bij het hotel.
