The very well-priced 133 rooms here manage to be spacious and well-located despite having a price that is certain to leave plenty in the wallet. The swimming pool area has a panoramic view of the surrounding area and there is also free internet provided during business hours. There are a number of restaurants in the nearby area but one of particular note is Cafe Iguana, which serves up traditional dishes that are popular with tourists and locals alike. Overall, this is a good low-priced hotel for business or leisure travelers who would rather save their money for other things besides the accommodation.

Rooms are clean.
Staff is friendly enough, but not gracious.
Neighborhood is rundown, but the hotel is doing its best to keep ahead of the disrepair around it.
The Roma Plaza is a good hotel despite its location. There are few places in Panama to stay for under $100 a night where the linens are clean and the food is good. There are short comings, but if there weren't, the price of a night would be up there with all the other places. When I need a clean, safe place to spend a night in Panama City, this is where I always stay.
