Unbelievably no sun umbrellas around the pool
Stayed 14 nights in standard room, have stayed 6 times at Centre Point Terminal 21 and 2 times at Centre Point Thong Lor and thought we would give Sukhumvit 10 a try. Perhaps the good first, all the staff are excellent, well trained, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location close to all the action and the free Tuk Tuk is a bonus. Now the not so good, there is no shade at all pool at all after 13.00, no umbrellaI anywhere. I discussed this on the first day with a manager who said there is one umbrella available if I asked for it. So the next day I did and was told my the pool attendant that this was impossible because the umbrella stand was a large lump of concrete in the form of an elephant that was to heavy to move. I approached the management again and suggested they go out and buy some sun umbrella and stands and was told my request had been noted. I went with the manager up to the deserted pool at 13.00 and tried to explain that perhaps the pool area was empty because there is no shade. He was reluctant to come out of the entrance doorway to the pool because it was so hot and just smiled lots and once again said my comments had been noted. Our room had the following issues that were fixed promptly by the hotel or me. The sliding bathroom door had come off its runners, I fixed that. 3 of the 4 easily accessible electricity points were broken, fixed by hotel. The table lamp did not work, fixed by hotel. The bathroom sink emptied very slowly, fixed by the hotel. The bathroom soap holders were rusty, the cupboard door to the DVDs player was loose and the curtains to the patio door were off there hooks and not secured at each end and after 4 days we had to ask for the bed linen to be changed, subsequently it was changed every day. Overall a dissapointing stay and not up to the normal high standards we have come to expect from a Centre Point Hotel.

Good Value Great Suite Excellent Breakfast
First time we have stayed here and we will be back for sure the staff were courteous and professional. Our suite while a little tired was still comfortable. Great TV selection and WIFI. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in several years of travelling through Asia. Pool was also very refreshing. Well done all round.

Pleasntly surprised
Fantastic staff! They allowed us to shower when we arrived before check in after a whole day of travelling which we greatly appreciated and we were also allowed to check in 2 hours early. The room was incredible and much more than we expected. The view from our room was amazing especially considering how much we paid. There were three of us and we booked a family room which was an apartment size with a living room, kitchen area, dining area, two bedrooms, two toilets and a shower and bath. Would highly recommend. Keep up the good work.

Worst hotel ever?
Right from check in, we were met with terrible customer service and unhelpful staff. We arrived at 9am and checked in. Obviously our room wasn't ready that early, so we bought breakfast in the hotel restaurant and went shopping at the nearby Terminal 21 mall. When we returned to the hotel at about 12:30, I asked at reception if our room was ready. The receptionist called housekeeping and was told our room would be ready in 10-15 minutes, so we sat down to wait. 30 minutes later, I went to ask at reception about our room again, another staff was there this time and the message I got was, check in is at 2pm, you have to wait. Even when I explained that her colleague had already checked, and told us we could have the room, her answer was the same - adding, this is our hotel policy :o We had booked a suite, including breakfast. For me, my wife and our 6 year old daughter. Next morning as we were leaving the breakfast buffet, a waiter came running after us waiving a bill. They wanted us to pay, for our daughters breakfast, even though it was included in the price of the room. I asked the waiter to check and he came back and told me that reception had only registered 2 adults when we checked in. So I payed the bill, thinking it was an honest mistake and that I would sort it out with the reception staff. But no such luck, they were completely indifferent. When I asked why we had to pay for my daughters breakfast, they said they had registered 2 adults only when we checked in and therefore our daughter wasn't eligible to breakfast, but they would let her stay. At this point, I asked to talk to the Hotel manager, who obviously wasn't there. I did get a call from him later though, not that it helped anything. He only quoted their hotel policy and didn't care that the receptionist had made a mistake when we checked in. The gist of the conversation was, that I should be happy they didn't charge extra for my daughter to stay in the room. With management like that,

must come back
My husband booked for deluxe room but since they are fully booked when i arrived they gave me room with jacuzzi .. very nice staff ..and the food are very nice ..

Nice room Clean lovely gardn
Located in sukhumvit 10 which is quiet. Recommended for family or people who love to be quiet. Big room and clean. Nice hair salon. Over all 4 stars. I will be back for sure.
