make sure your medical insurance is up to date

we did not have the opportunity to find out, except the toilets were clean and working.
we stayed in the Executive floor, 16th. The staff there were friendly and efficient. we had travelled from Bandung, and we had nothing to eat during the journey. we ate our breakfast on the Friday morning, unsuspecting that we had been infected. My consumption right through the day was simply an excellent cup of coffee at Monolog in Plaza Senayan. I got sick first just before dinner with an acute dose of diarrhoea. My wife started diarrhoea the next morning. We just assumed it was an "ordinary" case of an Indonesian infection and treated it with activated charcoal and Imodium. We were mistaken. The usual simple remedies did not work. Saturday was a nightmare for us, trying to complete our different agendas and keep very close to a working toilet. The next, Sunday, saw us flying out of Indonesia, after a very difficult night, with severe aches and pains, plus of course the need to be very close to a working toilet. Now we are back home in Perth Western Australia. We still have diarrhoea, now diagnosed as amoebic dysentery. We are both taking either 1 gram or 2 grams of Flagyl each per day, with little effect so far. Sadly we won't be choosing the Atlet Hotel any time again soon.

Location, Helpful staffs, Big room
Everything is acceptable but the room needs to have some improvement in privacy. I can hear conversation and activities sound from next room clearly.

Good hotel with good value

Location, Size of room, service
The location is similar to Harris FX, you pay a little bit more to get a nicer room and slightly better service. Definitely not a luxurious hotel but good value for money as a 4 star hotel.

Best Hotel to Stay in Senayan

Great Location, Big Room and Nearby Shopping Mall
As family travelling with baby and 1 kids, the big rooms was a plus. The hotel is nearby shopping complex, around 5 minutes walk to Senayan Plaza. Convenience to get Blue Bird taxi.

Good south Jakarta business hotel

location, value, room
I used to live in Jakarta and so am quite familiar with most of the "international" (meaning Hyatt, Sheraton, Mandarin, Shangrila, etc.; mostly five star) as well as "near international" (meaning Aryaduta, Borobudur, Century Park, etc.) hotels. This hotel is located in Senayan right next to the Jakarta stadium (Gelora Bung Karno), and is well located on the South side of Jakarta. The guests are upscale, mostly Indonesian, although it is a funny mix of sports teams staying there during competitions (hence its full Indonesian name Atlet Century Park Senayan) and people visiting nearby ministries (particularly the ministry of education), plus business people. The rack rates seem high, but they have lower corporate rates and they also discount regularly via services like Agoda, at which point the prices are reasonable. If you are a business person looking for an acceptable but relatively inexpensive hotel, the Century Park is fine, and if you are the kind of business traveller who wants to exercise/run it is probably a good place to go because of the sports complex literally across the street. It has acceptable food in terms of a café, but if you want expensive hotel restaurants and the like you might do better at someplace like the Mandarin or Hyatt. But the most important aspect of any hotel in Jakarta is location because of the traffic, so this hotel is good for meetings from the Central Business District around the Stock Exchange down to South Jakarta. It is also cheap enough for families, if you look for the online discounted room, etc. I will stay there again.

Good location and service

Location, comfort and service
It is a nice hotel. The service is excellent. Just that the gym is a bit small and old while the breakfast variety needs to improve. Cannot have sausages every day. :)
