Location is the key

Big room , clean
The hotel is far from the city center and hard to locate. I had asked for airport pickup for which I received no response. One has to walk a bit even to take a tuk tuk. Room is big and clean. Breakfast is very simple.

Big room but slightly out-of-the-way location

Big room, pretty good value for money and comfortable bed
This would be a good location for a family or a couple who have a hired car or SUV. and who want a clean, big room that is not too expensive and good value for money. The room is spacious the double-bed is comfortable. The hotel is quite far away from the centre and tuk-tuks and taxis often charge premium prices for tourists, so it can be awkward to get to without private transport. The area of the city that the hotel is situated in is not very appealing or interesting. But as a result it is cheaper than many more centrally located hotels. Also, it's not the nicest walk to get to the hotel. It is set off the main road and you have to walk for 5 minutes up a stony dirt track to get to it. The food in the hotel is basic and mostly fried - not very healthy. If you like fried fair then it's fine but it you're looking for continental breakfast or fresh coffee then you'll need to stay elsewhere.

Not a reasonable place to stay as a tourist

Big room
This hotel is far outside of the city centre, so away from most of the sites and restaurants; you have to pay a surplus to the taxi driver to bring you there from the airport, and they have no clue where it is - my taxi driver asked for the hotel number and had to call to ask for the location - it's in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road that's not on most maps. You would think then that they'd have some information or a map at least to compensate for this fact; but when I asked at the desk, the boy just told me there was no map and offered no other help. Thankfully I’d downloaded a local map on my phone, otherwise I’d have been lost. The breakfast setup is weird - I thought there would be a breakfast spread or a menu, but the dining room was empty, so I was confused; the staff was lounging downstairs and asked me if I needed help. I asked about breakfast and someone said I could order it; I wasn't sure if that meant I would need to pay, then thankfully one of the girls asked if I had booked on Agoda. I said that I had, and then they asked me to sit and wait, and then brought out a plate of fried eggs and ham, plus bread and butter and jam - no choice in the matter. I'm not picky, so that was fine, but it's not what I expected when I booked. The room seemed clean; the shower had no shower curtain or other barrier, so I had to sit in the bathtub to try to avoid splashing water everywhere. And I could only use WiFi downstairs. The kicker came when I had to head to the airport. I asked the boy at the front if he could call a tuktuk and he said that they had no number for a tuktuk. He didn't offer any other alternatives. I asked which road would be best to hail one, but I don't think he understood, just nodded. I had to walk at least 10 minutes to ASEAN road before I saw a tuktuk, which made me panic about getting to the airport. It's not worth staying here - practically impossible to find your way to the hotel, and just about as hard to leave.

Good hote;

price, location, room
The room was very big, clean and comfortable. The internet signal on the 2nd floor was not that good. The small road that lead to the hotel from the main road was a bit difficult to access in rainy season if you come to stay with a car. Breakfast was ok but when we came a bit late, most of the food were gone because of the tour group were just came down for breakfast before us. The staffs speak English and very helpful. Our car has flat tire and they were more than happy to help :-)

Nice hotel in a bad location

Good condition but very far from city centre
We turned up at 8.30 pm to check in and were hoping to get something to eat after travelling all day. The hotel was hard to find, in the middle of nowhere with no restaurants or anything within walking distance. We asked at the front desk but they said the kitchen was closed and they could not make anything for us to eat! So we did not even check in but took the taxi immediately to another hotel in a better location!

Good value if some flaws

Large room, clean room, reliable Internet access
As expected, the hotel is well away from the main tourist area along the Mekong River. If you have not been there before, it is quite difficult to locate! But as compared to a previous stay in Vientiane, the room was much larger, cleaner and brighter, although there was a good possibility to be plagued by a few mosquitoes in the room during the night. The staff was very diligent in cleaning the room every day (3 complimentary bottles of water!) It can be a bit noisy there in the early evening, since there may be a Karaoke session in the lobby, but this does not run late.

Clean, quiet surroundings, poor breakfast

Friendly staff
Without any issues. Not worth 30 US $ per night, compared to the prices in the Vientiane down town

Did not enjoy my stay

The room was large and the airconditioner worked
This hotel is so far from anything and it is difficult to find transport, so be prepared to do a lot of walking. Given the isolation, this hotel should make the effort to provide pushbike and/or motorcycle rental. The staff are not helpful. I found they would take forever to complete simple tasks (e.g., selling product from their shop). Mostly they seemed to be more interested in watching the soccer on the television. When checking out of the hotel, there was a distinct lack of courtesy. Additionally, given that the hotel is isolated and we had several bags, there was no offer to organise a taxi. Overall, the discourteous staff and isolated location make it impossible to recommend this hotel.
