Great Pool, Great Views
2 pools, swim up bar, great views
this hotel was comfortable however the daily cleaning could have been a bit better. location wise it's a bit out of everything so if your looking to escape the hustle & bustle it's ideal. short trip into phuket town for great shopping & close to the pier for those who want to go off and do some day island trips. the beach is muddy & not ideal for swimming when the tide is out but the 2 pools in the hotel make up for it

Very Nice Hotel, highly recommend
friendly staff, very clean, big pool and great food
We were very happy with Chalong Beach Hotel & Spa, were very accommodating and friendly, rooms were large and clean, and very updated, beach wasn't pristine, however they had a huge pool with a swim up bar, unfortunatly drink prices were not so great, so make your drink in your room. Amenities were all within walking distance. Golfing was not to far. Lots of choices of restaurants to go to.

Seaview room with just a patch of seaview
Big room, clean bedding
the room is fine, quite big and clean, but the bathroom leave a lot to be desired. the shower cabin door was broken. the technician was not able to fix it. the hotel building is a bit laid back from the sea front and is in fact behind a row of villas. if you really want seaview, you have to be at the top floor.

Good hotel but boring location
Large rooms
Very nice rooms, but not directly next to the sea. Fortunately there is a shuttle service to the very nice beach nearby.

Nice hotel but no beach
Pool, View
The hotel itself was nice. The room was clean and huge and the bathroom and shower were great. The view from the room was beautiful but when the tide was low there was no beach.

A Russian stronghold !!
The balcony is great and the ceiling fan is a welcome feature!
This resort seems to cater mainly to Russians, so you are likely to see many fellow guests with NO good-mornings or smiles ... the default language of the computers provided for internet is in Russian. Wifi signal is very very weak ... breakfast variety is not bad but the quality itself is not good .. The music volume in the breakfast room is near impossible to have a conversation and the lobby is always pouncing with disco music even as early as 8am! This is the only hotel whose bed, throughout my 4-week stay in various parts of Thailand, gives me a backache. The whole decor is very kitch! I will definitely not stay here again!

Hotel very shabby, free internet but slow
Very friendly and helpful staff
not a good location - not much in the area. quite a walk north to the main bar and restaurant area.

Hotel OK but location a little bit quiet
Close to the seaside
A quite area of Chalong with not so many restaurants to eat on outside the hotel. Nice and clean hotel with aaa we needed for a stay of two nights.

Certainly not a 4 Star Hotel!
Good if you want a quiet relaxing time away from Patong
the staff don't really speak english - but thats fine for a hotel where neither do 90% of the guests. the rooms are reasonable, but the beds are not top quality - they may be comfortable if you like hard beds. there is a pool table, but no cues. the restaurant food is not very good - but there isn't any competition. restaurant cocktail prices are about twice the patong street price. getting into patong will cost you at least 500 baht one way. the beach is not as good as most others in phuket. if you did want a quiet romantic getaway, i'd suggest karon beach instead...
