Great Comfortable Stay

Fort View Room, Clean Bathrooms, Good Staff
Overall a comfortable stay after 10 hrs of Driving, hot water comes in geyser on demand, responsive quick staff, food is ok but staff made us feel comfortable. Great rooms with fort view, nice hotel to stay with family as I had 3 yr old kid with me. Hygiene was excellent.

Very disappointing hotel.

Pathetic. We had to stay because we did not find any other alternative as it was new years eve and there were no bookings available in other good hotels.

Low standards

Quiet area, nice building and large room
Very low standards at this hotel. Is in the same building as the Hotel next door but the the hotel next door is better run. Stay at similar money and a better experience. Some issues were: Dirty pillow case No top sheet on the bed so I had to cover myself with a stained bed cover. Dust on the shelves. Short shower (3 or so minutes before runs cold). At breakfast, our jug of hot water was BROWN (dirty) so had to boil my own water for coffee. The hotel was unable to cook items on the menu (was told the chef was away). This hotel should charge much less or get its act together. Shame, because it is in a lovely building in a quiet area.

Decent hotel with great view of fort

Great rooftop restaurant and view
Great view of the jaisalmer rooftop restaurant, good food. Decent hotel but location is a bit far deep inside. Rickshaw out will cost about 50-80 rupees to the fort. Wifi works at lobby and sometimes in the room. Very friendly owner. Has really good hot water! All in all, pretty decent stay for us!

Quiet and spacious rooms!

quiet location
Firstly, this hotel is now called Chandra Niwas. We stayed here for 3 nights after spending 3 nights in another hotel on the fort. This place is a bit away (about 1 km) from the action around the fort, and is much quieter. We also did the Desert Safari through them. They have tied up with a Mr. Khem Singh for the safaris. After sunset at Khuri dunes, you spend some time in Khem Singh's desert camp. The cultural performance got a bit loud for my taste, but, it was a pleasure to interact with Khem Singh. I was very impressed with his efficient and hands-on nature. Mr. Arunji of Chandra Niwas was very accommodating, and has a helpful nature. It was a pleasure staying in this hotel.

Good rooms, quiet location

Pretty bedlinen
Jasmine Haveli was pleasant clean with nice rooms. Service was friendly though spotty, but the staff is keen to improve and helpful. Minor complaints notwithstanding, this place is worth staying at and in Fifu has a nice restaurant next door.

Away from the Tourist-Hustle-Bustle

New Hotel on quiet position,
the small hotel is situated just outside the big tourist-hustle-bustle and quiet. together with the fifu haveli (neighbour) the hotel offers enough for a change of the food. the restaurant is situated in the roof-terasse and offers a nice view to the fort of jaisalmer. the staff is very kind, but only few of them speaks english. the first night, the reserved (and paid) desert suits where all occupied, so that we had to change the room later on. the good rooms are on the two upper floors.
