Great Stay, Good Service
I just stayed at Chetuphon Gate few days ago. First of all, I'd like to thank you to the staff who upgraded my booking to a deluxe with free of charge, I really appreciated. This place is suitable to explore the cultural, old town, city tour - no rush just to relax. The room was really clean and the location is very good to access many place like Wat Pho (just opposite Wat Pho), Grand Palace, etc. It's very easy to get taxi or tuk-tuk. Wifi signal was really strong and easy to connect. Also, The staffs were nice, helpful and polite.

Great location
Great location for seeing the palace and Wat Pho, as well as close to the dock to see the Wat Arun. It was annoying that we kept having to ask for towels and that they were taken each day, but otherwise it was a good stay.

It's ok
Room was clean, and good location for sight seeing. But probably I wil stay a hotel which near from station next time. Taxi and Tuk Tuk drivers were always cheating, so I prefer to use train. Stuff was not always in the hotel, but there is a restaurant near hotel and it looks they are managed by same company, so somehow I could check in even though I reached midnight.

Best budget hotel
Located just in front of wat pho, 10 minutes walk to grand palace and a dinner at the deck i.e Arun Residents is a must ! The view from Arun Residents is amazing! We spend a lovely time at the bar on the roof top too. Will visit to this hotel again .

Close to khason road, palace, bang ok river
It is in the cut when you get of the fairy you might get lost beachside it is on a side street facing the palace. But it is 5 min walk from fary when you know where you going. They had no rooms so set us up at there sister hotel arum resonance it was great river views, Japanese loft style rooms, and cool roof top bar. There is no night workers so they close the barn like doors in the front and you have a key to get back in at night, no biggie.

Bed Bugs :(
The staff were friendly, and the location is right beside Wat Pho and a close walk to the flower market or Grand Palace. The biggest disappointment was that on the second day (the day we were leaving) we noticed bed bugs. We spent the entire morning cleaning and triple checking our luggage, instead of enjoying our morning in Bangkok. I don't recommend staying here until they take care of their issue.

Location
The views were excellent. Check in was a breeze. However, due to the bed bugs I cannot recommend Chetuphon Gate.

Highly recommended Boutique Hotel
Excellent location, professional and friendly staff & the incredibly comfortable bed & linen.
We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here. On arrival (we were late) the friendly staff welcomed us and showed us directly to our room, which was small, but fitted out with all the modern facilities you need and extremely comfortable. We had made a dinner reservation at their sister property, Arun Residence, with their help via email, and the staff had already notified the restaurant to hold our table. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had given us the best table on the terrace, right beside the water. The food and service at Arun Residence, not to mention the staff, ambience and decor, is outstanding. A must if you stay in this area (for lunch or dinner). The location is fantastic, in the oldest area of Bangkok, walking distance to so many major attractions, the water (for river boats) and the flower market / River Walk. We would definitely stay here again.
