great location with breakfast to be improved

the new pool, the location at the Mekong river, the quiet athmosphere
it is a pleasant 3-star hotel, but no more. while employees and services are efficient and friendly, breakfast is rather poor. some egg variations, but no bacon, pancakes croissant, jam or honey. not to talk about yoghurt or muesli or the like. breakfast caters to asian breakfast culture, not so much for european/american . nevertheless a very decent place for a couüple of days now improved through the new swimming pool, which is a huge assset

Maekhong river is impressiv

vicinity with Maekhong river
For private trip, it is now difficult to receive full services ... Only Chinese tours seem to be supported !!! The room was not ready when I arrived, no one to take my luggage, or to tell me where my room is located ... The first morning it was difficult to find a seat for the breakfast in the crowd of the tours, but the buffet was correct. .. but the second morning without any tour the breakfast is much smaller ... And on weekends there are weddings that naturally occupy all the hotel's resources !!! Fortunately Maekhong is close and the view from the balcony mitigates these organizational problems !!!

Great views over the Mekong

Location, cleanliness, room size
Good hotel, worth paying the little bit extra foot a river view. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast not very good, closed earlier than advertised a nd restaurant staff stood around doing nothing.

River view, good food and dinining place, nice teak garden
I am in love to this hotel. Very lovely place which made my trip to Ching Khong so perfect. Nice river view restaurant with very good quality northern Thai food. Room condition is good and very relaxing atmosphere.

Okay hotel

Nice view over river
Small dark room with nice view over Mekong. Friendly efficient staff. Food okay with buffet breakfast serving cold fried eggs. Don't expect too much from this little town and you won't be disappointed. Fine for an overnight stay.

Better than the Photos

Rooms, Location, View
I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel as it was nicer than the pictures convey. The staff is very helpful. There are two restaurant/bar areas, and one that overlooks the Mekong river. The rooms are all new and very clean. My only complaint is that the internet did not work very well most of the time and at dinner it took 45 minutes or longer for 2 of us to get our meals at dinner. By that time, the rest of the group was finished and ready to pay for their meal. It is slow season so maybe they were understaffed. Also I highly recommend the in-room massage.

Second time there and still like it.

Cleanliness. Location by river. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Best thing has to be its view by Mekong River. Great place to enjoy drinks and food. Will stay there again next time we're in Chiang Rai.
