no elevator after hours
Elevator was closed at 11 pm till morning during my 3 night stay. I found it hard to climb the stairs with arthritic ankles as I came in late after visiting family. Elevator should be running 24 hrs.

I forgot to bring my ID, but they were very helpful. I feel welcomed, taken care of. Staff are genuinely friendly without being over the top. Magazines and newspapers are abundantly provided. In room Breakfast is value for money. Room is spacious and looking out to park, with high ceiling and common balcony. Parking is free and plenty of eateries around. Very small grievance is the old and noisy elevator, but it's nothing compared to great staff!

Comfortable stay at Chifley's
I had a 2 night stay at the Chifley's. It was a convenient location. There are places to eat food around the hotel. At a 10 minute walk - there is a tram service which is free to bring you to the city which is 3 stops away.

Great location for Public Transport
I liked location and had view from 3rd floor to beautiful park opposite. Hotel is also close to beautiful Japanese gardens. Staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean and spacious. Room also had a toaster which I liked.
