Nickled and Dimed for decent facilities

Great location, good service, nice facilities
We stayed at the resort for three nights through Christmas. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the festivities that the hotel arranged for the guests - Santa, Carolers, Fake snow, etc. The indoor pool (outdoor awesome pool is closed in winter) was nice and clean, but nothing spectacular. Normally I wouldn't gripe, but this is one of the times I went out of my way to book a hotel that had a pool, shelling out a little extra money, only to find that I had to shell out more. However, the location was very good, just a stones throw to the monorail, close to the airport, and close to kokusai dori.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Be sure to check out the aquarium in Nago (it is amazing,) and don't forget to spend time walking around the shotengai (covered shopping streets) that are networked across Naha - it was a very good way to take in the real culture of Okinawa city life.

Comfortable clean rooms

Nice bathroom, nice bed, and very clean
to a first timer in japan the room probably seems small but they are actually a decent size. japanese hotels are never going to give you empty space to practice karate.... besides that, the rooms are very clean and i thought the bathroom was nice. i payed yen for one night. im pretty sure it was the smallest type of room they had. i was solo for this stay. its located pretty much on naha port. not the most sceneic view on the side i was on. just a loading dock for shipping containers. im not picky about the view though. the staff new good enough english to check me in. it also helped that i spoke a little japanese.
Hotel Feature Tip: The outlets are american, and theres a lot of them but the ones with the ground plug in (the third round part of most plugs) are hard to find. You have to look behind the desks and such to get to them. A very small hassle if your plugging in a laptop or most american electronics.

reasonably priced hotel with clean but small rooms

good situated to go for sightseeing, downtown Naha and public transport in walking distance
We found the rooms clean and comfortable, but very small (Japanese standard) with just enough space to open one smaller suitcase on the floor. Complimentary internet in the rooms is also an advantage. The hotel is a part of a double complex and facilities of the neighbour hotel can be used. For a family of four, having breakfast or dinner within the hotel premises is a challenge for the budget, but there is a big supermarket across the road which is open until late at night and a pizza delivery service round the corner where you can order and pick delicous pizzas until 10pm.

Location is not very good.

If you are lucky, you may have a room with sea view.
There is no restaurant in Chisun Resort that we have to walk for a while to go to another hotel to take the breakfast/lunch/dinner. It takes about 15 mins by walk from the hotel to the monorail station or bus terminal. The location is not very good.

great hotel, great pool, great buffet

lunch buffet + swimming pool
we spent a week in this hotel. got everything a good hotel has, ice machine, tooth brush and even laundry machine and dryer. realize in okinawa most hotels dont have swimming pools. kids had a great time in the pool. one evening we had their pool side bbq so kids can play in the pool for a few hours. meat quality is so so but the all you can drink beer is great. their lunch buffet is of high quality and the price is very reasonable. yen for adults and yen for kids. it is a bit of a walk to the train station but we drive so it is ok for us. room is a bit small so next time we will try loisor, the hotel next door belong to the same group.

good location with new facilities

room available with seaview
we booked a 3-people hotel room for mom, dad and myself and since we all are quite big-built so honestly we feel a little bit crowded with the room. But the room facilities are satisfactory (with wi-fi) and quite new in general. The hotel nearby has got some restaurants though not very good ones.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: It is highly recommended to rent a car for travel there throughout the journey. The weather is very very hot so it is very nice to go swimming and some water sports!

OK location but small rooms

clean room, friendly staff
We had two nights at the Chisun Resort Naha. The room is a tad small, even for Japanese standard. Good thing that it is clean. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is also a bit far from the monorail station. It takes about 15min brisk walking. It is however, not really the thing you want to do in the high heat of summer. The two supermarkets near by are very good for stocking up what you need for the day: water, beer and snacks.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: It takes about 15-20 min brisk walking from the nearest monorail station to the hotel. So if you are looking for something closer to the city center, choose a hotel that is closer to the monorail stations.
